1st time - Suboxone
I am starting my suboxone treatment tomorrow after I'm into the ever dreaded WD's. My 1st prescription is for 8 mg. 1/2 a pill every hour until the symptoms have subsided. I have been taking 14-17 10 mg. hydrocodones a day for about 1 1/2 yrs. I'm very scared of how I am going to feel for the next few days. I am also dealing with a lot of anxiety. Does anyone know if I can take a 1/2 or whole xanax while taking Suboxone to help with anxiety? I'm reading conflicting reports on this. I've got a call into my dr., but have not heard back yet. I am very concerned about how I will be able to function for the next few days or weeks. Yesterday was my first dr. visit and prescription. I really want to kick this awful habit. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank You... ...

Suboxone overdose?
I was taking (1) 5 mg of oxycodone a day for 10 months for countless surgeries. When I tried to stop taking the 1 pill a day I would go through extreme pain muscel and nerve pain that felt like my body was on fire and would not allow me to sleep. Even with trying sleep aids like Tylenol pm and Benadryl. I went to the doctor to see if he could prescribe something to help me sleep through the night. He put me on (2) 8 mg a day of suboxone. I only took the (1) 5 mg pill at night. I took my first 8 mg strip 24 hours after my last oxy on Tuesday night. About an hour after that I began projectile vomiting, felt drunk, horrible headache, server itching that kept me up all night. I called the doctor who gave me anti nausea med and have still been vomiting everything up since it is now 48 hour l... ...

Suboxone/no excuse
People who moan and go on about how expensive suboxone and dr visits are well it's pretty simple and I say this because I to take suboxone ,I have for 2yrs 2 months it's not cheap but neither was your addiction I'm not stupid 20yrs of addiction has taken everything away from me now it's slowly coming back at $1.00 a mg or more in some cases like oxy-codon or Percocet 30 s I've payed $40.00 dollars a piece and that barley scratched the surface in getting me feeling better was taking 3to 4 a day everyday and I afforded that so the suboxone is very affordable compared to getting opioids off the street so do your best to make it work people and god bless ## Dear Jimmy24z, I totally agree with u. I'm lucky enough 2 have health insurence, so, I only pay $40 a month 4 a... ...

Generic Suboxone Sl 8 Mg Price
what is the price on the new generic suboxone sl 8 mg /2 mg per tablet? As I don't have insurance & have to buy them separate or a few at a time. ## This website does not manufacture, prescribe nor sell any medications, it is an information only website. That said, the price will vary from area to area, from pharmacy to pharmacy and according to how many you are buying. In most cases it is cheaper to buy a month's worth, as the individual price goes up if you buy lower amounts. Learn more Suboxone details here. Have you asked your local pharmacies for price quotes? ## In regards to people asking about generic Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone). It seems that the tablets cost more than the name brand strips. Even the generics, appear to cost slightly more than the name brand s... ...

Suboxone Extra Dose
I have been taking Suboxone for a little over 2 weeks now. I have been addicted to every kind of opiate for about 15 years.. Recently became addicted to morphine taking about 150 mg a day.. Decided I was sick of being sick and wanted to change before my 30th birthday. My Question is... I am prescribed three 8 mg strips a day and now into my 3rd week am having thoughts if wanting to abuse it. At first it was like it was gonna change my life.. I felt great!! Now I'm having feeling of wanting to get high again. Is my dose not enough? Or can I take two 8 mg strips at once?... I feel like taking it every 6 hours but my doc says take it every 8. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. ## When it comes to dosing, I'd honestly recommend discussing this type of question wi... ...

I tried detoxing myself off the Suboxone 2wks ago & went thru hell, after a wk I was better. But still no sleep, achey, nauseous, headache & overall felt like bad flu. Well I relapsed & now am back on it! I want to wean myself off-But am getting my Dr to get me in an outpatient rehab-I have a 2 & 10 yr old & live with my parents. They know it all & My Mom helped me go thru the withdrawls before & had to hold me from shaking. I want off of it fast!! detox methods to get off suboxone
I ,due to a severe injury, was on methadone for 8 yrs and got off that crap and on suboxone at the advice of a friend. I now am at 2 mgs of suboxone daily. My pain issues are mild to none and I want off subs .I went to my doctor who claims he has Much experience with this and has proven that to me...but his method is scaring me and from what I read online I am very hesitant. He prescribed me 2mg dilaudid and valium which I hate and plans to wean me off the subs. Is this right??? I can handle a mild w/d but not a heavy one due to my work. I am not looking for people tellin me to suck it up or give advice other than if the detox method described is reasonable or crazy?? Everytime I try to go below 2mg of subs I feel like hell will a dilaudid taper make it easier or start a new addiction an... ...

Norco 10 325 Mg And Suboxone Interaction
My doctor prescribes me Suboxone 8/2 mg film and Norco 10/325 mg together for pain relief and to prevent addiction. I personally feel more pain relief from both together rather than one or the other. And doing research I found that a few patients get my results from both simultaneously having something to do with the brain receptors. Any feedback and/or where I can find any web information. I have lost where I found the research. Thanks ## Hi John, My findings state that there are actually potentially unsafe interactions between Hydrocodone and Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone). Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Using Hydrocodone together with Naloxone can reverse the effects of Hydrocodone. If you are a physically dependent patient you may experience withdra... ...

Suboxone & depression
I am a pain killer addict, I was addicted to Mortars for about 7-8 years. I began seeing a new doctor & was prescribed Suboxone 2/.5 mg & was on that until about 6 months ago when I was changed to Buprenorphine due to it being cheaper. My question is, I have become increasingly depressed & dealing with anxiety as well as becoming very withdrawn & moody. Could that be a side effect of this medication? It helps so much & I don't want to stop taking it but I need to know. Thank you in advance. ## That was supposed to say I was addicted to Lortabs NOT Mortars. Stupid auto-correct. Sorry. ## No worries, I've had some amusing autocorrects myself, especially on my iPad. And yes, all narcotics can cause these types of issues as side effects. I remember when I was on ... ...

suboxone to fentynal for pain mgmt
I'm a chronic pain pt. I was on 16 mg of sub for pain for 2 straight years. It completely stopped working, when in the beginning it worked "good enough" now, my dr is a pain specialist and suboxone dr. He put me on a fentynal patch 25 mcg told me to take my last dose of sub and put patch on at same time because sub should b mostly out of my system within 12 hrs. I had no problem switching but a little wd from the sub. It is only day 4....dr said 40% of your opiod receptors r still open on sub!!! It only fills 60% of them. Still, enough to block most opiates, except very high doses. Now, I am just starting to feel the fentynal on day 4. But am still in moderate/sometimes severe pain. Anyone with a similar experience???? ## Hi Painpatient38, I haven't personally had an exp... ...

Noticed people been asking about coming off this stuff. I,ll keep you all informed about how my jump feels. Not expecting anything for a few days because of the half life. Just to let you know I didn,t feel much bettween tapers until I got down to 1mg. and I gotta tell you that it was just about nothing. Not thinking jump will be too bad, maybe mild discomfort I hope. Success - so far -Suboxone
Hi all. For 5 years I gradually increased my oxycodone use. I have a degenerative back disorder. The pain is there but I used oxycodone as a crutch. It got worse and worse from 2 5 mg a day to 3 to 5 and ending in 2 30 mg a day costing me 100s of dollars a month. I finally reached out to my psychiatrist who set me up with a suboxone doctor. I took my last 7.5 oxycodone at 2 pm yesterday. Dr said to wait 12 hrs as did alllll the Internet info. I was sick in w/d by 8pm. Was scared to death of this nightmarish precipitated w/d I read about. At 8:30 pm I took 2 mg suboxone as the dr said to start with. Omg I was feeling better. 10 pm another 2 mg and I was AMAZED at how I felt. I didn't sleep very well BUT I'll take that ANYDAY over wondering how to get the next oxy. This morning I ... ...

suboxone/morphine addict 300mgs a day
Hey I have a question and some info. I am getting ready to come off of 300 mgs of morphine. Started with vics, soon moved to 80mg of oxys, then to 100mg morphine tabs 3 times a day. I got into a suboxone clinic very expensive. I only pay 120.00 dollars for my morphine and now I have to go and pay 935.00 dollars for the first month without medication? I AM SCARED AND VERY NERVOUS TO START THIS...Any advice? And does anyone get there meds online? Figured if you can get narcotics why not the stuff to cure it? I have looked but I think it might be 2 new. Yes I will have a script for it in 8 days....HELP? ## Suboxone will not be easy to find from an online pharmacy, it is very closely regulated and legally can only be used under the supervision of a doctor who is specially trained in its use... ...

Suboxone And Withdrawals
Hello slit has been two days since taking my OXY IR's. I started my suboxone like two mgs and it is wonderful. I don't get any withdrawals and I sleep great. However I still have the craving for the IR. I am filling the script when I get the money but I did not want to go into withdrawals since I ran out. I plan to take them again next week or so but until then I just want to get past thinking about them. My question is my suboxone level to low or is thinking about getting them mentally a part of my brain used to having them? HELP PLEASE!!! ## Yes, it is normal to still think about wanting them, the Suboxone just helps prevent the physical symptoms of being without the drug, it doesn't fix the mental issues for you. However, you aren't going to be able to take the Oxycod... ...

How Long Does It Take For 4mg Of Suboxone To Be Out Your System
How Long does it take for 4mg of suboxone to be completely out of your system? ## Hi Steve, Based on my research, if you took just one, then it should be out of your system within about 48 to 72 hours. If you have been taking it regularly, it could take longer. My suggestion is to drink lots of fluids and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables to help flush it out of your system faster. Are you hoping to get Suboxone out of your system by any specific time? ## i took 2 mg sub film monday and 2 mg film on tuesday. how likely will it be out of my system by thursday? thanks. ## you guys are fabulous! thanks muchly for the help! ## Took about 4mg strip on monday. Out of my meds- Hurting. Have't taken subs in awhile. Would it be out of my system by Thursday? ## Took just 1 mg of suboxon wil... ...

Feeling 'sick' from Suboxone
I have been on Subox for about 4 months now...I started at a very low dose. Only 6 MG a day for the first 2 days (and then after getting very sick on that amount) lowered my dose to only 2 mg total a day. The trouble is I feel really sick...horrible headaches, zero energy, body aches. It feels literally like I am being poisened slowly by the Subox. So why not stop taking it you will ask. I have tried to taper down and the WDs are as bad as coming off Oxy to me. I am now stuck between the option every day to feel like a '10' bad and have serious WDs and not take anything...or take a little Subox , not have the sweats as bad, but still feel like a '8' bad. There seems to be no good option anymore for me. Maybe my brain is truly damaged and will never feel the same without ... ...

On Suboxone Getting Skinny
on suboxone one year iam losing to much weight i look like a junkie and depressed. ## I have the opposite problem. I have put on too much weight. Initially, I needed to gain about 20 lbs but I gained 40 and lost the first 20, now cannot get rid of the remaining 20 for anything. Any advice on that? The only thing I can tell you about gaining weight, eat ice cream before you go to bed. It helped me go from drugged out looking to normal in no time. ## Steve, have you consulted your doctor? As evidenced from Laurel's post, if you are using it as prescribed and not abusing it, it usually has quite the opposite effect and most people gain weight. Your losing is unusual and you should consult your doctor to get to the root of the problem. ## i m down to 8 mgs aday now i think my appetite i... ...
