Side effects of suboxone
I have been on suboxone now for just under a month. I think it is an amazing drug, i have had no cravings or interest in returning to opiates, my drug of choice was oxy. I get up every day feeling happy, and am able to take on what ever the day brings me. I am also on lexapro for depression at this time. There is one problem after i take my dose, which is 8 mg. twice a day, I am extremely tired sometimes to the point where if i sit down I will nod off, so I keep moving and can usually fight through it. I am wondering do other people feel this way or does it get better the longer you are on it? Two other things that are sometimes very bothersome are dizzyness and extreme dry mouth. I just wanted to find out other peoples experiences. Thanx ## Hey yea I get the same nod as you, it starts ... ...

Length of time on suboxone?
Hello everyone! I've was a pain pill addict for almost 11 years. I had many of surgeries and have a lot of medical problems. I was put on the pain pills due to my severe pain. And, became addicted. Went on methadone to get clean. I was so sick of being an addict. I was on 110mg and weaned down to 24mg. At that point, I was withdrawing so bad. I went to my Dr. Whom is also an addiction specialist, in tears. I was begging him to help me. He said I could stay on the methadone and increase or go on suboxone. I had come so far down off the meth. That I didn't want to stay on it. Anyway , I went on subs. That day. I take 24 mg a day. I'm also on. 3mg a day of klonopin due to PTSD and anxiety. So happy where my life is today. I've been on subs for almost 8 years now . I know if... ...

1st time - Suboxone
I am starting my suboxone treatment tomorrow after I'm into the ever dreaded WD's. My 1st prescription is for 8 mg. 1/2 a pill every hour until the symptoms have subsided. I have been taking 14-17 10 mg. hydrocodones a day for about 1 1/2 yrs. I'm very scared of how I am going to feel for the next few days. I am also dealing with a lot of anxiety. Does anyone know if I can take a 1/2 or whole xanax while taking Suboxone to help with anxiety? I'm reading conflicting reports on this. I've got a call into my dr., but have not heard back yet. I am very concerned about how I will be able to function for the next few days or weeks. Yesterday was my first dr. visit and prescription. I really want to kick this awful habit. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank You... ...

is there a such thing 12 mg suboxone
Do they make 12 and 16 mg suboxonne for the public. My frientold me about a 12 and 16 mg suboxonne ## Dear trey, I've never heard about it. If that was the case, I think the Dr would give people the16 instead of two 8s. It would then b easier 2 take 1 instead of 2. You get what I mean? But, maybe it's something new. I'm on 3 (8mg) a day and if they had 16, I would only have 2 take a 16 and an 8. 2 instead of 3. Again, it might b new. ## This is brand new. I've been told by my GP that he wants to put me on 12 mg per day to start lowering my dosage. Most pharmacies don't carry them, but can be ordered and you receive them within about 3 days. ## The maximum listed available are the 8mgs, as Cats68 has stated. Other doses are usually done by using several of them, or cu... ...

Longterm 2 mg Suboxone film issues?
I've been getting sick( ie starting to experience various symptoms) most days every day for some time. I have a doctor that has me on a diet pill, fluid pill, birth control, liothyronin, and Suboxone about 2 yrs ago. I dose once a day. Before I go forward, I eliminated one potential problem now. Through diet and exercise I have lost quite a few inches and probably lbs. I haven't weighed myself but others tell me I look like I've lost weights and I now fit in smaller sizes. I'm 23 year old female, 5 4" generally get lots of sleep (only with ambien and melatonin though) These symptoms have begun effecting my life and I have had to drop many classes costing 10's of thousands of dollars and lots of self esteem and basically the esteem of those around me. The best way... ...

avinza to suboxone?
I've been taking 90mg Avinza twice daily for about 11 years, with the addition of percoset 5mg 2-4x a day over the last two years. I still couldn't sleepplus had major anxiety issues, and after trying Ambien (awful!), Klonopin, Xanax & other meds that made me brain dead the next day, I finally began using cannabis with great success. It even relieved my pain by making me stop focusing on it. Then I scored a 21 on a drug panel at pain mgmnt and now they are tapering me off morphine & cold turkey on percocet. I've taken it for a decade and I'm terrified because I know my body is addicted. I don't drink, I barely smoked cannabis but will continue to and I've never abused my meds, but I know it will be a hard transition. Do I need to find a doctor to write fo... ...

Suboxone overdose?
I was taking (1) 5 mg of oxycodone a day for 10 months for countless surgeries. When I tried to stop taking the 1 pill a day I would go through extreme pain muscel and nerve pain that felt like my body was on fire and would not allow me to sleep. Even with trying sleep aids like Tylenol pm and Benadryl. I went to the doctor to see if he could prescribe something to help me sleep through the night. He put me on (2) 8 mg a day of suboxone. I only took the (1) 5 mg pill at night. I took my first 8 mg strip 24 hours after my last oxy on Tuesday night. About an hour after that I began projectile vomiting, felt drunk, horrible headache, server itching that kept me up all night. I called the doctor who gave me anti nausea med and have still been vomiting everything up since it is now 48 hour l... ...

Suboxone/no excuse
People who moan and go on about how expensive suboxone and dr visits are well it's pretty simple and I say this because I to take suboxone ,I have for 2yrs 2 months it's not cheap but neither was your addiction I'm not stupid 20yrs of addiction has taken everything away from me now it's slowly coming back at $1.00 a mg or more in some cases like oxy-codon or Percocet 30 s I've payed $40.00 dollars a piece and that barley scratched the surface in getting me feeling better was taking 3to 4 a day everyday and I afforded that so the suboxone is very affordable compared to getting opioids off the street so do your best to make it work people and god bless ## Dear Jimmy24z, I totally agree with u. I'm lucky enough 2 have health insurence, so, I only pay $40 a month 4 a... ...

Generic Suboxone Sl 8 Mg Price
what is the price on the new generic suboxone sl 8 mg /2 mg per tablet? As I don't have insurance & have to buy them separate or a few at a time. ## This website does not manufacture, prescribe nor sell any medications, it is an information only website. That said, the price will vary from area to area, from pharmacy to pharmacy and according to how many you are buying. In most cases it is cheaper to buy a month's worth, as the individual price goes up if you buy lower amounts. Learn more Suboxone details here. Have you asked your local pharmacies for price quotes? ## In regards to people asking about generic Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone). It seems that the tablets cost more than the name brand strips. Even the generics, appear to cost slightly more than the name brand s... ...

suboxone quitting
How do I best stop using this crap. Been trying to do less and less. I had shoulder surgery got onto perks and vikes. Long term stuff but weened myself off. This one isnt so easy. Thinking I should have done this tge hard way rather than try other folks advice. Any suggestions? ## Hi Mark, It really depends on how much your taking per day. Subs have the long half life so that makes things so much different then the usual pain pill wd. I can tell you this, when you get down to 3 or 4mgs you should not drop more than a half mg at a time. You need to wait until your body feels comfortable on that dose. I,m talking a week at the least. It,s because of the half life. It takes a long time but well worth it. If you do this the jump will be fairly easy. ...

Suboxone Extra Dose
I have been taking Suboxone for a little over 2 weeks now. I have been addicted to every kind of opiate for about 15 years.. Recently became addicted to morphine taking about 150 mg a day.. Decided I was sick of being sick and wanted to change before my 30th birthday. My Question is... I am prescribed three 8 mg strips a day and now into my 3rd week am having thoughts if wanting to abuse it. At first it was like it was gonna change my life.. I felt great!! Now I'm having feeling of wanting to get high again. Is my dose not enough? Or can I take two 8 mg strips at once?... I feel like taking it every 6 hours but my doc says take it every 8. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. ## When it comes to dosing, I'd honestly recommend discussing this type of question wi... ...

detox methods to get off suboxone
I ,due to a severe injury, was on methadone for 8 yrs and got off that crap and on suboxone at the advice of a friend. I now am at 2 mgs of suboxone daily. My pain issues are mild to none and I want off subs .I went to my doctor who claims he has Much experience with this and has proven that to me...but his method is scaring me and from what I read online I am very hesitant. He prescribed me 2mg dilaudid and valium which I hate and plans to wean me off the subs. Is this right??? I can handle a mild w/d but not a heavy one due to my work. I am not looking for people tellin me to suck it up or give advice other than if the detox method described is reasonable or crazy?? Everytime I try to go below 2mg of subs I feel like hell will a dilaudid taper make it easier or start a new addiction an... ...

The difference is that the Subutex and its generics don't contain Naloxone, they only contain the Buprenorphine. Learn more Subutex details here. Norco 10 325 Mg And Suboxone Interaction
My doctor prescribes me Suboxone 8/2 mg film and Norco 10/325 mg together for pain relief and to prevent addiction. I personally feel more pain relief from both together rather than one or the other. And doing research I found that a few patients get my results from both simultaneously having something to do with the brain receptors. Any feedback and/or where I can find any web information. I have lost where I found the research. Thanks ## Hi John, My findings state that there are actually potentially unsafe interactions between Hydrocodone and Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone). Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Using Hydrocodone together with Naloxone can reverse the effects of Hydrocodone. If you are a physically dependent patient you may experience withdra... ...

subutex and suboxone
Why do people stay on suboxone for long periods of time? I was on 8 , 10/325s a day for 6months, and I was able to get off opiates with 2, 8 mg pills of suboxone. I took a whole pill (8mg) the first day, 1/2 (4mg) the next day, 1/4 (2mg) the 3rd day, and I stopped taking it. I saved 2mg just in case I withdrew. But I had little to no wd's. I would relapse a few months later for about two weeks. And was able to get off the opiate with just one 8mg sub. By taking a 1/2, a 1/4, an 1/8, and an 1/8 the 4th day. No wds. Knowing I had access to the subs gave me a way to use the opiates recreationally cuz it felt good. Kinda wish it wasn't available. But if it wasn't, I'd be stuck on the opiate. Thankfully I haven't used in 16 months cuz it can get expensive. :-\ ## well I a... ...
