I have yet to take a form of this medication in any brand since the 5 mg Dexedrine that is even and consistent and has the least amount of side effects to date. I take 15 mg 4 times/day. My plan approves it currently but I will appeal it until the cows come home because minus appetite loss, which is even less than the other forms for me, this dose taken this way has been a blessing. However, it is difficult to find. Out of everywhere I called, only Costco had it available from one of their backup suppliers and it had to be ordered but honestly, if you can get insurance to cover it, or get the coupon and get one of the doses out of the 5 mg or 10 mg even from this company, go for it. I took the Wilshire as well as Zenzedi in the 10 mg form and it had more side effects. I just had to note...

its a rop and round pink pill scored in the middle with 150 on the top and a V on the bottom ## Unfortunately I couldn't find an exact match to your description in the drug databases. The closest match being the same imprints you mentioned, except that the supposed "V" looks like a rounded triangle (or an upside down V that is closed off at the opening). This pill is also regarded as being white and not pink, but otherwise would fit the rest of your description. If this does not match your pill, is there any possibility that the marking has simply been misinterpreted? Please post back if you have any other comments or information to add and hopefully we can narrow down the search. You may also want to consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyze...

Hi iv been taking 15mg phentermine once a day for 9 days and have been on a 850 kals a day and walk 2 miles a day and I haven't lost anything should I ask my doctor 30mg or dose it take longer to work ## Hi Molly, In my honest opinion, 850 calories a day seems very low for any individual trying to exercise for weight loss. If you're not eating much, your metabolism can also put your body into "starvation mode" and begin to store and hold onto fats or what little bit you are eating, as an act of survival. If you really want to rev up your metabolism a bit more, I'd suggest eating smaller meals every 2-3 hours as a way of encouraging your body to keep burning food as fuel and not storing it. As far as how long phentermine takes to work, it really varies from one person...

I have chronic back pain from a major car accident . I have been on the fentanyl. Patch 100 mcq every other day. Yesterday I went to my dr and she told me about some new law our wonderful government has imposed. According to her fentanyl, subutex, and methadone are all in this list of drugs that the government has decided to attack. There is some number associated with each drug and then it's multiplied. By the mg of what ever medicine you are taking if the number is over 200 it puts you in a red class and that is a NoNo. I have been on this for 15 years and my dr just totally refused to write another script staring that she would be in trouble with the government if she continued to write it. She did offer a 2 week supply of a much lesser medication and said I could go I a pain cli...

Hi all...I have several bone fragments in my upper vertebrae from an auto accident 22 years ago (passenger) and more recently (2008) hit as a pedestrian and suffering from 8/9 mm disc bulges L5/S1 and 4th concussion 3 months ago. My lower back is obviously the worst area and I'm in the 8-9 "pain range" (severe/unbearable) on a daily basis. My GP had me on 12 10/325 Norco (APAP nightmare) for all of my chronic pain. We've tried numerous thing over the years but to no avail. The Norco was the only treatment within his realm of expertise (or what he was willing to keep me on w/out changing meds and upping my dose) that I believe he felt comfortable with. Forgot to mention that I had both epidural and facet IV's, PT and chiro, all with very short-acting results. Now, my ...

Has anyone had experience using this drug to slow or treat chronic diarrhea? I have short bowel syndrome and had 2 resections leaving me with the diarrhea. We are now trying different treatments. ## It does cause constipation, in some cases very severely, as a side effect, so it has been used for this and has worked for some people. The only way to see if it will work for you, however, is to actually try it. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Verwon is quite correct in asserting that morphine sulphate will cause a degree of constipation or, more in keeping with your problem, relief from diarrhoea. However the much weaker analgesic codeine phosphate is much more effective in that regard and even better is dihydrocodeine tartrate, possibly the most constipating opioid bar perha...

Which medication is stronger: 15 mg Morphine ER or 10/325 Oxycodone or Hydrocodone 10/325 ## They are very similar. My doctor has put me on and we've tried to figure out what works. best. I get 10mg Norco & 20mg Oxycodone, and I alternate, it REALLY helps!!! (I have a LOT of medical issues.) ## @birdie, I think as post #1 suggested, you pretty much just have to work with your doctor to find out what best suits your level of pain. Some people debate that oxycodone is a step up from hydrocodone. I think the answer may vary with each individual based on personal preference. And as far as comparing morphine ER to immediate release oxycodone, there's probably no easy way to determine an equivalent dose since one is being slowly released...However if it's of any help, the foll...

is 1 15mg morphime IR stronger than 2 10mg 325 oxycodone tablets ## Yes there stronger ! Morphine has a high acting effect on the neural pathway and does a much better job for relief from what ails us all ! Check a pharm scale the oxy is like 6 or 7 on th list morphine is 2 ! ## hydromorphine 32mgEX what do they use for breakthrew pain..? ## Actually no, Oxycodone is stronger than Morphine by one and a half times. In other words for each 10mg dosage of Oxycodone, you'd need to take 15mgs of Morphine to be equivalent. You can learn more Morphine details here and you can learn more Percocet details here. Additionally, the Acetaminophen in the Percocet potentiates the action of the Oxycodone to help it work better. oldtimefiend, there isn't any specific medication that has to be us...

I just went to a new pain dr. For 8 years I was on OxyContin 30mg. My insurance wouldn't pay so I was switched to 30 mg ms continue er. This worked fine. All with 5/325 Hydrocodone up to 4 daily for breakthrough. Within the last four months the old Doctor switched to 30mg IRR without telling me why the change. I think just mixed up. Actually it worked basically the same with the breakthrough meds. Now new doc changed to MS Contin er generic with same amount of breakthrough melds. I haven't started yet but am worried it won't work as well. Help ## Since it is a lower dose, it may not manage your pain as well and you may also experience some withdrawal symptoms. As listed by the FDA, withdrawal symptoms may possibly include nausea, dizziness, fever, chills and diarrhea. Is the...

i want to reduce dependence on pain meds (6 yrs. so my Doc ordered me morphine sulphate 10 mg capsules instead of the MS 15 mg ER. Insurance won't approve the change due to cost & now while the Doc & insurance are arguing about it I'm running out of MS tonite. Doc hasn't called back. I do have some 5/325 hydrocodone but not sure how much to take in lieu of the MS 15 ER. ## Have you had any luck, yet? I know how frustrating it is, when your insurance is controlling your treatment, rather than your doctor. The FDA warns that Morphine carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Ref: Morphine Information

What is the difference between 15 mg morphine and 15 mg morphine er ## Hello, Renee! How are you? The ER designates that one as being time released, so the dose is slowly released over a period of 12 hours, the one without such a designator is a regular release pill, so the complete dose is released within about 15 to 20 minutes of taking it. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

My Doc prescribed me 15 mg of Morphine. Ive been on vicodin 7.5 mg for three years. How much of a difference is morphine? I took half of the blue pill just now. ## The Morphine is stronger than the Hydrocodone in the Vicodin, it is also a straight narcotic, without the Acetaminophen that is in the Vicodin. It sounds like your doctor is trying to help you get better control of your pain. The main issue here is, what type of Morphine pills are they? If they are the time released version, generics for MS Contin, then cutting the pill in half could be very dangerous and should not be done. It can cause you to have too much of the medication released at once. The side effects are similar and may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth.
