12 Mg Percocet

Is there a medication called percocet 5125. If so, what is it, what does it look like what mg is it? ## No, the medication name would just be Percocet, it contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, so it's a narcotic pain reliever. Sometimes numbers do follow the name to designate the dosage, but there is no Percocet on the market with 5mgs of Oxycodone and 125mgs of Acetaminophen. However, there is on that contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. It is made by several different manufacturers, so the markings on them will vary, depending on who made it. Are there any markings on the pill in questions? If so, please post back with this information and I can help you further.

I have been on Percocet 10/650 for around 8 yrs. now for my back. They cannot do surgery because the bone and discs in my spine are not strong enough to hold any type of device. They have now changed it to Oxycodone 15 mg but doesn't seem to help. Is Oxycodone 15 stronger than the Percocet 10/650? I am NOT looking for drugs and the high that some give. My profession is very important to me and I would NEVER risk loosing it due to drugs, however, I am on my feet for at least 12 hrs. a day on concrete. Is oxycontin and Percocet the same thing except without the tylenol ## Yeah. It's usually extended release instead of the percocet, which is immediate release. I've been taking 240 Percocet 10/325 for over 10 yrs with 60 mg MS Contin twice a day for breakthrough pain. When I'm out of the blue my doctor sends me to a pain management specialist because he says he can't write for any narcotic over 120 tabs a month. I go to this new doc who wants to inj. something in my spine in an area he calls the sweet spot, and that I have been over medicated by my other doctor but only after a MRI which I had and I went back after my scan and it turns out I don't have a sweet spot. I accidently took five Percocet in a 3 hour period today from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. I took two around 12:00 pm and two around 7:00 am. Possibly a total of nine today. I have been on this medicine for 1 year. I usually take two, 3 times a day for a total of 6 per day. Will I be okay? ## I do not want to overdose. This was sincerely an accident. It's been an hour. Amneal's oxycodone, generic for percocet 10/325 is white, oblong, blank on one side, and imprinted with IP 204 (not IP 203)! I usually take Watson or Mallinckrodt, 10/325, (2) tablets every 4-6 hours (240 monthly), but I was given Amneal today when filling my script, and I am not happy! I have cancer, and I also take morphine sulphate 30 mgs as well (1 every 12 hours), and Fioricet with Codeine for severe migraines (as needed)! I was taking 5 mg of percocets 6 times every 24 hours. I recently tried suboxone to see if could act as a pain killer/substitute for the percocet. It made me feel like I was on an opiate but did not take away the pain. I took a 1/3 of a 8/2 mg strip over the span of 2 days. Wasn't much at all. I just want to go back to my 5mg percocets. It's been about 12 hours since I took my last little piece. Am I good to get back on my percocet regiment now? I no longer feel the effects of the suboxone, probably because I barely took any. I have had 6 back surgerys with pins,screws and many of fusions.over the past 5 years or more have been on oxycodone 10-325 4 to5 times a day. Have been taking OxyContin 5mg every 12 hours for about a year. How difficult to come off this drug? Am very tired and the dosage is not enough now. Don't want to take them any more. ## I think you'll be fine. If you are truly on only 10 mg a day, total, that is a crazy low dosage, and of course that wouldn't do anything for you really. Oxycodone is the drug in OxyContin,same as Percocet or Oxycodone IR except OxyContin is made to be time release. Most people with chronic pain are started out on 10 mg 3 times a day, which is a total of 30 mg per day. Even on 30 mg. I think withdrawal would be minimal. hello i have chronic back pain ive been on a bunch of pills and nothing seems to be working as of now im taking 4 percocets a day and this new thing called kadian 100 mg sustained release just asking what it compares to cuz i was just on hydro morph cotin 24 ml twice a day with 4 percocets just asking if this 100 mg kadian is just like a hydro cotin if it is like a hydro cotin what mg would my kadian 100 mg compare ## This is an old post, but kadian 100 is morphine - sustained release for 12 hrs- and is a very high dose. Hydromorphone is a stronger drug. You must have tolerance to high opioid doses to take Kadian 100 (or overdose is likely). I took it for years, but have gradually tapered down to 30 mg twice daily. It took about 2 yrs to taper that much.

I was wondering how many 2.5 mg 325 oxycodone can I take at one time? I normally use 30-50mg a time each day to maintain my pain. ## Hi Connie, Based on my research, the usual adult dosage for Percocet 2.5/325 is one or two tablets every 6 hours- the maximum daily dose is 12 tablets.
