While it isn't common, weight loss is a known rare side effect of taking Ropinirole.

I have lost 20 lbs. since 7/12. ropinirole is the only prescription i am on. my dr. refuses to believe it's the ropinirole for rls. I look so skinny at 117lbs. 5'8" that i am the talk of the town at work! starting today i am not going to take repinirole 2mg. except when i get the cramps and spasms in my legs.
