what is the active drug in mylan 155
will it mess you up
This tablet was listed by Mylan as containing 650mgs of Acetaminophen, and 100mgs of Propoxyphene, which was a generic for Darvocet, a mild opiate analgesic.
The FDA warned that it carried the risk of being habit forming, and it was removed from the market due to the frequency of overdoses that it caused, as well as its risk of cardiac problems.
The inactive ingredients in this particular tablet are:
D&C Red No. 30
hypromellose
magnesium stearate
microcrystalline cellulose
polyethylene glycol
polysorbate 80
povidone
sodium lauryl sulfate
sodium starch glycolate type A potato
titanium dioxide
Although this list may not apply to all manufacturers.
Is there anything else I can help with?
