Hello. I'm on house arrest and got drug tested via urine for subutex on 8/12/13. My last dose was on 8/4/13. I am wondering if this would still be in my urine 9 days later? Help please!!!

I been on subutex. Three years my doc lost his clinic. Gave me script tell I could find a new doc. Kept a pill so would not be sick. Qurterd it up. How long would be in us ?

I have been on bebuferin. Subutex. For three years. My doctor lost his cllnic.i had one took guerter of pieces for the week so I would not relapse how long would it be in my urine?

Idk but if u took the test prior to about 8 days of taking the sub, u will almost certainly test positive. U didn’t include how long it’d been since u took it, so..

YEP -- this is exactly right. Has been 6 days since taking a couple subs... failed UA.. Chugged copious amounts of water, lemon/cranberry juice, the whole deal, IT DIDN'T MATTER

If urine is sent out to a lab, what is the time frame to avoid subutex being detected? It is not a panel test at the Dr. office, but the test sent to a lab. I have not taken the subutex but I have the opportunity to try to see if I can stop my other opiates. Does this really work for pain?

My friend got a random call for a urine test today (they called him 20 minutes after he thought he was in the clear) - yes, they do check him for that specific drug he took due to his background including pain, nerve, etc.

He took an 8mg Subutex at 11:30 and has to be there for the test at 3:00. Is it gonna be in his urine by that time? Before he took that last pill, he took an 8mg 2-3 days prior. Is it gonna be in his urine? He also drank about 2 bottles of water and 2 small Gatorades.

He is 5'5-5'6 / 160-170 pounds, slow metabolism I'd say.

You need to drink a lot of water. Buprenorphine is "sparingly" water soluble.

I was in the same boat as you. More or less. I was scared to death after reading all the bulls*** on forums. And that is what most of it is. Bulls***. That's why I felt the need to post what I know to be fact. I'm glad things worked out for you after the anxiety.

I hope this helps someone. It's 2017. I am 60 yrs old. 6' 160 lbs. In very good shape. I get tested for everything at my pain management Dr. I feel fortunate that I have not been dismissed after 4 ua fails. One fail for suboxin. After my last ua fail, the Dr. scheduled my appt. for 2 weeks instead of the usual month. I knew my ua would happen on June 22nd. On June 12th, I took 8mgs subutex. On June 13th, I took another 8mgs subutex. I imediately began to drink water. Lots of water. I drank lots of water from June 14th until the day of my ua. June 22nd. At least 2 liters a day. Some days 3 liters and even more. I worked out a couple of days. Weights. I just went back to my Dr on July 25th for the results of the ua. He sends it to the lab and they to a very involved and precise ua. I worried everyday for a month about this ua. From the time I woke to the time I fell asleep. Evidently I passed the ua. I did pass because it never came up. Had I failed, I would not be this happy. Trust me. The last thing I want to do is find another Dr.. Since they took opana off the market, I switched to the 50mcg. fentynol patch. To go along with my 120 30mg roxies. Or oxycodone. I am in severe chronic pain due to a car accident. I hope this answers the question for a certain scenario, how long does buprenorphine stay in your system. It can be gone in 8 days. I promise. Considering the amount taken before the ua. In this case, 8mgs a day for 2 days. 8 days before the ua. I am curious if in was out in 6 days. Or 4 days. That I will never know. I hope. Guarrantee, 8 mgs can be out in 8 days. Drink a lot of water. At least 2 liters a day. Not the easaiest thing to do. For me anyway. I reiterate, I will be 60 November 29th, 2017. I am 6' tall and weigh 160 lbs. In good shape. I have worked out all my life. Now I workout with light weight. Hope this helps. Sometimes we get caught in a bad situation. lol. This time there was a happy ending. So to speak. I am elated and feel like a lot of weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Thanks. God. For giving me the wisdom to know how to pass this test. I contend that I would have failed the ua without my hydration program. Considering the half life of buprenorphine.

I took a piece of a strip friday, saturday, sunday and monday. I had a drug screen thursday but was scared it would be in my system so i rescheduled for friday. I tan everyday and run every night. Meaning i sweat a lot. I only weigh 125lbs. I made sure i sweat a lot more than usual on monday thru thursday. I drank only water and not a ton of it but enough to make me pee pretty often. Needless to say i passed my test friday. I read all these comments monday night and was so scared i was gonna fail but nope i passed! So i figured id let everyone know my personal experience with it. I honestly would wait it out at least 4 days if not longer. Cuz the positive line was just a tad faint. Meaning it wasn't positive, it was negative, but still was a little faint meaning if you wait longer than 3 days then im sure you'd be good. Hope this helps someone. I know i wish i woulda read something like this because i was so scared after reading everything on here... Also, i took a 12 panel drug screen.

If I took about 2 mg (quarter) of a 8 mg Subutex in a 3 day period I'm sure I won't pass the urine test, but when they send it off to the lab for further testing, won't it show up in % form? And if it does, is there a certain % where they count it as a negative result for being such a low amount?

So sorry to say but you are out of luck . I was clean for over 2 weeks and when I tested there it was . Don't listen to people about it being gone in 3 to 4 days . I never ever used them before and when I did was only for 6 days and I was clean for 16 days over 2 weeks and it showed right up.
