How Can You Crush New Oxycontin

I have the new oxycontin and it seems undoable to crush and take them - anybody know anything about that?

how many beers or drinks do you have every night. you are self medicating. No way I believe you shatered vertebra and do not have excrutiating pain.

You are obviously not in chronic pain everyday, how dare you judge others. Id love to wake up and not take a pill so i can move. But if i dont whose going to get my boys up and doing what they need to do. Oh and i use natural therapies and exercise but unfortunately i need that pill, so think before you judge others.

I was onopana for quite some time. I have severe back and hip issues as well as MS. It did not work as well for me. I currently get 5 15mg oxycodone and 2 40 mg oxycontin. Its ok, but i dont feel like the oxycontin works that well. Im trying to find a way to make it more potent ad faster acting

I had to do the same thing but after about 5 yrs of methadone the side effects will start to be detrimental to your health. Teeth fall out. get REAALLY fat. Bad for joints. It makes your circulation bad. If you can get off methadone for a yr and go back your ok but in 5 yrs you HAVE to get off again. SIDE effects are very unhealthy.

Brace yourself for this, my cancer surgeon had never had a surgery in his life, when he sent me home on Norco 5mg after removing my lung. My oncologist steeped in and solved the pain problem. I think surgeons should have surgery every five years whether they need it or not to remind them what pain is.

Absolutely the truth! I am a cancer patient, with a chemo treatment related (nerve damage) that created an orthopedic problem. Anything that relieves chronic pain should be legal and available. Screw any puritanical nonsense that states otherwise. Snort it, shoot it, oral, whatever relieves the pain. I am SICK AND TIRED of pain free people driving the politics of legitimate dependency.

I have similar situation as for the pain and the so called names we get called however if you chose to end your life you will be considered the 1 thing your not I can only emagine the pain your in cause every ones is different and sometimes I feel the same as in wanting to end it all but the most important thing is to just surround yourself with something or someone who cares like get a dog ...it makes a difference to me as something then depends on you and I talk to mine and my lil dog and my pitt cant give me criticism for anything ...only love ...and I would get to a family dr. And get referred into pain clinic there are doctors that will listen and care and understand ..just dont give up and keep trying. ..hell write dr. Phil and tell him your story there is something you can do and someone who will help ..you just need to find them if your mri and xrays are like that they will help you...DONT GIVE UP AND SEEK OUT EVERY OPTION YOU CAN ...LIKE I SAID WRITE THE DOCTORS SHOW OR DE. PHIL YOU WILL BE SURPRISED THE HELP THEY CAN GIVE AND THEY CARE WHEN ACTUAL PEOPLE THERE AROUND YOU DONT AND THEY WILL SEE YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT TREATMENT YOU NEED ... HOPE YOU FIND PEACE

I was taking apo oxycodone 40mg 3 times a day for seven month and just recently my doc and pharmacist said they are back ordered on the apo oxycodone and don't know if they will get more cause it looks like they stopped making them! He now put me on co-oxycodone cr 20mg 2 pills 3 times a day and want to know if these 2 genaric oxycodone company's are basically the same and if this new co- oxycodone 20g will have the same effect as the apo which I found helped a great deal, because I was in a bad car accident 7 years ago and have a bad foot, ankle and back I have chronic pain and just want to know if anyone can help me and tell me if these apo pills and co pills are the same thing as my doctor and everyone else is saying they r! I find my pain is under control somewhat, but sometimes run low and have to cut a pill in half and chew or-inhale it one or twice a month only when the pain is at its worst or if I'm short a pill Hear and there! Please someone help me and tell me if these two generic companies are basically the same, thank u

I know exactly how you feel. I can't lie in the bed because of my pain. I finally went to the methadone clinic. That is the only legal way I could get àn6 type of pain med.it is far from the best thing but now I don't lay in bed crying begging for God to take my life. I am on 100mgs. A methadone clinic will raise your dosage easy,all you have to do is ask! It cost me 360 out of pocket because my state does not allow medicaid to cover treatment for addiction and I can, t find a doctor that will write for pain. Too many lawmakers playing doctor.

Val, I agree with you! It does not work half as well as the oxycodone. Why am I suffering bcause pain docs do not know what it is like to be in pain or crhonic pain, period.

I've had my vertebrate shattered..sciatica from the age of 19 from football and constant other pain...you need to work out or exercise and stretch. You are worse than someone who uses pain pills recreationally for a high. You are just the scum of the earth...you are too lazy to fix your pain the right way so u get prescribed pills. You will die from the abuse on your liver ...you take these everyday...other people take them every now and then. You are pathetic..."you need these pills" just like a hero in addict "needs another fix"

I agree. People who have to have the drug to live thru the day have trouble getting it because of the junkies that want to get high. It makes me angry. Now the company fixed the medicine so they can't abuse them and they are already working on ways to abuse the drugs again. This causes so much trouble for people with real pain. I had half of 2 of my vertebras surgically removed due to infection. It causes excruciating pain that is only helped by oxycoitin. doctors used to be scared to give them. now they are realizing they can't shoot them anymore so they will prescibe them to me. Junkies will find a way to scew it up again. all they do is sit around and think of ways to abuse medicine and get high. One day you abusers will have to have meds and you will see what you caused people in pain.

Oxylifesaver is spot on. Sorry, but if the abusers hadn't screwed it up for everyone else then the formula would've stayed the same. Fact.

it was not drug abuse until a human gave it a name and it is a man (or woman) that desides if it is abuse in my opinion you taking it upon yourself to say that you deserve to medicate yourself your way and another persons way of medicating thereself is wrong your a d*** just because someone has pain beyond your comprehension doesn't mean its not there unless your just here to annoy people then proceed

I just want to staighten some tyhings out. Go find the white paper put out by Purdue about the new formulation. It's on the internet. According to the white paper, the OP's have a polymer binding agent. It takes 24 hours for oxycodone to leach out into water.
The bottom line is , if you want instant release you are going to have to soak the pill in something for 24 hours. This is also the reason the pills are not as effective when taken orally. Oxycodone is not being efficiently absorbed in the intestines after 12 hours if it's even still in your body.
