Effects Arthri Side Arthri D

I have R.A., my loving mother saw the ad for Arthri-d & bought it for me as a gift. I saw no harm in trying it because I have researched a lot of the herbs such as turmeric, frankincense etc. I have been taking it for 5 days & am having intestinal issues (gas, irritable bowel symptoms, headaches.) Are these common side effects from this supplement?

There is really no way to answer that. Since they are considered supplements and not drugs, it is not required that they study the side effect profiles, so most of them aren't really know.

If you have only experienced these since taking it, then I would suggest stopping it for a few days, to see if they go away. If they clear up, then you will have your answer.


The actual ingredients, from what we have found on the internet are:



Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Magnesium, Chondroitin, NAG, Turmeric, Rice Flour, Boswella Serrata, Ashwagandha, Yucca, Bromelain, Evening Primrose Oil, Green Lipped Muscle and Hyaluronic Acid.


Does the bottle list different ingredients?

I stopped taking the Arthri D & was much better in 2 days, I guess that this supplement mix was not for me. I am so disappointed. I was hoping that this was going to help me

I have researched all ingredients, Boswellia serrata is Indian frankincense or Salai. It is found in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in India.

By the way, Arthri-D is the exact same thing as a product called Flex Protex D. I've been taking Flex Protex since 2005, and it works amazingly well. I haven't noticed any side effects, though it does have an allergy warning that it contains shellfish.

Flex Protex D isn't advertised on TV anymore, so it's a lot cheaper. I've bought mine on eBay many times, sometimes for less than $20 a bottle. I've seen it on Amazon too. And the ingredients are exactly the same as Arthri-D.
