I have just moved to Harrisburg, PA. I found a pain management clinic who will prescribe my methadone (I have been taking Methadone for pain management for 5-6 years), however they have asked that I find another doctor. I was told by pain management clinic that I am the only patient they prescribe methadone for. Does anyone know of a doctor in the Harrisburg, PA area that prescribes methadone for pain management?

Do they have to move to ohio or just get a monthly script there

I've known ppl that come all the way to cleveland ohio for their methadone...I never asked why but there's quite a few at cleveland Treatment center on Carnegie & CAAA on Euclid & e55

Can anyone tell me of a pain specialist in/near Allentown Pa that will prescribe methadone for cronic pain. I just had spinal fusion in L4/L5/S1 have been taking roxicodone 30mg 6-8x a day and still isnt enough. any help please!!

i'm addicted to herion and benzo's and would like to get on the methadone program.The problem is finding a doctor in n.s.w australia in the hunter valley.If anyone knows of a doctor could you please let me know. i only weigh39 kilos and feel like i'm on deaths door any help at all

ASKING FOR METHADONE DOES NOT BRING UP RED FLAGS EITHER I HAVE HAD 5 DOCTORS PRESCRIBE ME IT FOR PAIN ON THE ASK I HAD TO HAVE MY RECORDS FOR MY BACK AND SHOWED THEM I HAVE BEEN ON METHADONE FOR 5 YEARS ALSO BUT AFTER ALL IS AFFIRMED ALL IS GOOD FOR A DOCTOR DECIDING NOT TO TREAT YOU BECAUSE OF CONDITION IS ACTUALLY MORALLY THROUGH DOCTORS CREED AND CRIMINALLY WRONG THEY CANT DO THAT JUST SAY I AM NOT SEEING THIS PATIENT DO TO HIS/HER MEDICATION LISTEN TO THOSE THAT KNOW SOME PEOPLE NOT A CLUE REALLY COME TO LEBANON DR HARTMAN DR ENGLE ANNVILLE FAMILY HEALTH BOTH WILL PRESRIBE METHADONE THAT IS IF YOU NEED IT AND CAN SHOW THEM YOU DO AND HAVE BEEN ON IT PEACE.

yes i am from there also in lebanon about 30 minutes away DR Hartman all he prescribes for pain management is methadone.

Due to the severe addiction issues associated with it, it is not usually prescribed for pain, unless it has failed to respond to all other treatments.

That said, it can be prescribed by any doctor with a valid medical license, finding one that is willing to do it, however, is going to be the tough part.

When you go somewhere and are asking for a specific medication, especially a narcotic, it tends to raise red flags and they are very reluctant to deal with you as a patient.

I am assuming, from this clinics reaction, that you have been unwilling to try anything else recently?

Have you asked them if they can recommend another place you could go to nearby?
