There is no information on the the reason you are requesting signatures. You cannot expect people to sign anything without a legitimate issue discussed that can be thoroughly vetted!!!

Please people! You simply must stop using this legitimate forum as a pipeline for pain medication, with or without a valid written prescription. Don't you think that this forum is read by doctors who don't reply to this insanity, but who form opinions about people requesting pain medications. This is a good example of med seeking behavior and it makes it so much worse for those of us with chronic pain issues and who conduct ourselves appropriately to continue to maintain our satisfactory doctor-patient relationships and to be able to get our medications without being judged by your bs, unethical standards. Although you have the first Amendment Right to express yourselves, I really feel all of you should start your own drug seeking forum and quit tearing MedsChat down to your level. I mean, what adult doesn't understand that the mere possession of a controlled substance without legitimate proof that it belongs to you, in most states, if not all states in the USA is a felony. If you don't understand what a felony is, look it up. You sure won't get the drugs you are seeking on MedsChat in the hood!!!

I have had the same Dr my whole life and was looking for any recommendations for a good family doctor, so u shouldn't throw stones at glass houses unless u know what ur evil self doesn't know, BL. Be a real man and mind ur own business. You seem like a bitter old junkie who had nothing better to do than sit in front of a computer and belittle others.

Momo - I have seen a couple of posts where people are blatantly trying to obtain meds w/ out prescriptions. I can understand where your post would apply there. However, the majority I have read are for people trying to locate doctors who will prescribe pain medication who have valid reasons for it. Some of us do not want, for example, to be forced into inj's. that have the possibility of paralyzing you and STILL will not take care of the pain. Personally, my pain level is literally debilitating. Combine that with neuropathy and I am lucky to stay out of my bed during the day.

Doctors are scared now, bottom line. On one hand, I completely understand. On the other, I am frustrated and furious! While you have a doctor you work well with others do not; especially in large cities and God forbid one has a high crime rate. People genuinely suffer and come to this forum as a last resort in attempts to manage their pain. I am one of those people.

Thank u my first time I ask on here as imeibe who calks the self BL said some horrible things and I d I nt even get pain meds was just looking for a good docter I do have anxiety and ra but never take paineds as I am scared to had the sane Dr mist of my life and like I said I was just seeing If anyone new a great family doc where I live or close God bless u I hope I pray u get help we with ur pain

My doctor for 14 years has had me pain free but I moved to Indiana where I can no longer travel to my doctor there I have one here now but only to send me to a pain management which is nothing but a joke my doctor I had has went through all the same bs as these doctors are doing I've told them over and over that norco is only thing that worked but they still want me to take crap that never worked before it's like they just went us with sever chronic pain to suffer and keep making unprecedented appointments just to collect from Medicare

Praise the Lord the link for the petition finally was approved by the moderators! See, as it currently sits, chronic pain patients are lumped into the category as addicts. This petition is asking to separate us out of that group! Thank you guys for being patient and understanding that sometimes moderators need to now publish some materials which direct members of this group to an outside source. Please sign and share.

I am in o Fallon mo I was just through back surgery surgeon does not want to prescribe any more pain medication everybody's treating me like I'm a drug attic, can anyone tell me who and Missouri will prescribe hydrocodone for my surgery pain? Thank you in advance

Not one reply to my message here in Portland Indiana. Stop treating us like we are drug addicts. If you've gone through the hell I've been in with non stop pain and don't require medication for it then don't go preaching to me. I really hope a doctor sees this and replies, hopefully one in or near Portland Indiana. Pain management is a big joke, don't bother. I only need a doctor that's willing to write a prescription and be my primary doctor. I have an appointment Tuesday only to be given cymbalta. I mean come on, my old primary doctor had done everything under the sun and nothing worked. Why can't doctors get this through their egotistical heads? I know my body better than they do.

My right kidney is in such pain tonight, is there any hospital in Longview that will give me any type of pain relief. Omggg. You have to break a bone to get any relief these days. God help us all that really need it.

Lynx, politicians do not see these petitions. Trump is Not in favor of less restrictions when it comes to opiates.

With the cuts to Medicaid Trump and the Republicans want to make, it is difficult to believe Trump cares anything about those that don't have the money to buy good health care or any health care. Not to mention what their plans will do to those with pre-existing conditions and those 55-64. They are for tax cuts for the wealthy at the expense of the poor, disabled, children and elderly. Unfortunately, Trump and Republican supporters won't believe this until it negatively affects them and their families.

@Queen, so very well put! Unfortunately im in ur same boat - its bad enough were suffering with this to have some anonymous highly opinionated poster reem us out! The ppl trying to seek out recreational drugs on this site is wrong but NOT everyone is doing that. And unfortunately it's freedom of speech, but for someone to categorize every and anyone to that level is just f'ed up. I've been seeing legitimate PM doctors for 10 + years & bc of all the abuse ect im in a horrible situation at the moment & reading someone going on a rant about this & that infuriates me so much. I wish he & anyone else would keep negative opinions to themselves or a forum that welcomes it, unless u have walked in my or anyone else shoes that are suffering. Hi Sam,

Surgeons get you thru the surgery & only for a short time after-at least from my experiences. Surgery is their specialty, just as pain management Docs deal & are supposed to take care of your PAIN! I go to same pain management Doc. every month for either injections and/or pain meds.By the way, for those Snowflakes that think our GREAT PRESIDENT TRUMP wants to take your narcotics or opioids away, they are WRONG! He is after the illegal street drug activity! Go to a pain management clinic monthly. If you pain Doc isn't helping you with your pain-he/she isn't doing their job-you need to let them know & find one who does!

If you do find a good Dr, please let me know. I've been going to this pain management facility,since I've been here (3 mts) and they aren't worth a crap. Have had meds changed and decreased and I feel like total CRAP! not sure why they changed them, didn't complain or ask them to.
