After Taking Hydrocodone When Will It Show In A Urine Test? (Page 2)

I took a hydrocodone at 8:40a.m. and that same morning had a urine drug test at 11:20 will it be detected?

I go to the Dr tomorrow at 2pm. If I take half of a 5 mg hydrocodone in the am will it show up in my urine test? I need it to show up. Ty

No, a urine test cannot show the levels of hydrocodone in the system. It can only tell the tester whether it is present or not. Also hydrocodone peaks in the system between 6-8 hours. After that it drops off dramatically. If you are looking for the best chances for detection, take the pill at about 7 hours before your test, making sure to drain your bladder within the first 1-2 hours, so that your bladder can fill up with urine that will test positive.

Use synthetic urine or tell the truth.She may drop you but there are other programs so dont give up ..Honestly why go through 24 hours of withdrawal. .its not worth it .Keep your head up and dont give up !

I read several places and showed it stays in you system for 3-4 days,then one place said 1-6days,then one said by 10 hours it's in you system. Wish I could give you a better answer.

I took a hyrdo 5/325 on Tuesday and ten I took a half on Wednesday morning and the other half that night then that Thursday I took a whole one and that night I took a whole one I didn't take any Friday say or Sunday. I have a drug test Monday am I safe

I take two Norco 10-325 every morning for severe back pain. I go to a new pain mgmt and had a intrathecal pain pump put in but the morphine is set so low I still suffer so with me taking the Norco how long does it stay in my system in case they drug urine test me? I'm not suppose to be taking them but they set the pump at 0.169mg per 24hrs a day after 4 visits. They only turning it up 1tenth per week or so.

In my opinion they are full of it. Tbey were probably looking for a reason to drop him. They get people hooked and do this when they are in hot water for writing to many. I went to my dr and had this happened before they said no hydrocodone in my system. Ive not missed a day in 10 years they are lying.

This is the usual practice if the incremental dosage increases are insufficient you must convey that information to them. By not being proactive for yourself you risk dismissal by taking an unapproved breakthrough narcotic because the level of analgesia from the morphine was insufficient?? Do you see how dangerous that is for your continued adherence to your pain contract/ agreement. Please fight hard for yourself in the end ONLY YOUR COMFORT MATTERS God bless...

Ugh! Like seriously, have you not learned that if you have nothing nice to say then don't say it at all? I'm a nurse and EVERYONE'S bodies ARE NOT the same even though the majority may be! Automatically assuming they are selling their prescription just because it didn't show up is ridiculous! Their body composition may be different, their diet, their activity, their water/fluid intake, their eliminating habits, their intake of supplements.... really anything and everything can be a factor as to why their meds didn't show up in their screening!

Please be respectful to others and not go around the World Wide Web with such a demeanor of grandiosity attacking others in a negative way... Bringing them down just to bring yourself up somehow in your mind!

I'm disgusted!

that is not a problem, it's SUPPOSD to show in your urine test at a pain clinic-they want to be sure you're taking your prescribed meds, right? -Relax.
