Addicted To Lortabs And Buying Adderall Illegally.

Hi, I am a 37 yr old male and i have been addicted to lortab 10 (Watson blue) for almost three years.. I have built up an ignorant tolerance of 8-15 per day.. they've begun to stop working, I have a friend who went to get on suboxone and so he would sell me some and id be ok for awhile but missed the euphoric high from the tabs.. recently I have been introduced to adderall and listen, honestly this is the most perfect thing I have ever ingested! I have researched add and took the tests online, every single one of them said see a doctor immediately, when I take adderall I focus, feel like I can get my work done and don't ever lose patience with ppl.. I've had 17 jobs in nine years, recently divorced, the house used to be a mess and now adderall has transformed my life and took me from the high number of lortabs, I only take three per day and only for the pain, my question is this, how do I approach a proffrsional doctor and explain to him/her that I have been illegally consuming drugs and want him to basically peddle them to me legally? Like I said, I do enjoy the feeling adderqll provides but yet it goes so much further, time spent with family, work, and friendships while im on adderall is like its never been before and my family and even my ex wife has commented on how very proud of me they all are that I seem to of found happiness and their all so glad and love to be with me now, but see, the dark side is the fact that im acquiring them illegally.. yes I have shame and guilt and never once been in any trouble, not even traffic violations, but if I get caught I will be in deep trouble.. im so scared that I can't get the very thing that makes me normal. Tabs help me to feel normal also until the adderqll, I abused tabs but honestly I only abused adderall the first week and ran out and felt like I was dying, like a cocaine hangover!! Now I only take one per day. Help!

Hey Adam I dont think it'd be wise to tell your doctor that your taking a controlled substance in the hope that he'll prescribe it to you. Youd be better confincing him you need it.

I know how feel though as my reliable seller is no longer around. You wouldnt happen to know a trusted seller?

Adderall does not treat pain and no doctor is going to prescribe it to you for that. It contains mixed Amphetamine salts, it's a stimulant, which is used to treat conditions such as ADHD and narcolepsy.

That explains why it's helped with your attention issues, however, since it does contain Amphetamines, it is very dangerous to use improperly and it is also habit forming.

Exactly I was going to say the same thing. Adderall is not for pain. Plus, where are you getting your euphoric high from now?

Still on adderqll, still on tabs.. no dr visit yet, this is such a vicious cycle, everything has just about went to s***.. just had to go give my child a valentines at my x house, her new mate was sitting there, she had photos up that I had taken while we were together, everything felt like she married another guy and pretends its me.. what a freaking thing to see, I know this isn't a divorce forum but I wouldn't wish this feeling on Adolph Hitler.. I cannot believe she and my child has a new home that doesn't include me, I feel like im in an episode of twilight zone.. everybody walking in the stores with a girl beside of them and I traded a few pills and a whore for my family... jesus..

Hey there buddy w/ the sky falling, listen up and I'll tell you exactly what to do. Pull up the symtoms for adhd, add, shift disorder, narcolepsy,..whatever addoral treats. Just pick one, study the symptoms, make an apointment with a therapis, who will then ask you a series of questions, answer them as if you had all the symptons you studied everyday, and she will send you to a doctor who will then start you out on a low dose of adderol. If after a few months he wont up your mg's, go to a different doctor/psychiatrist that will. It doesnt happen overnight, but it changed my life, got me over having to leave my woman and our two young children, and now I've met my soulmate, and her and I plan to get married in the next year. Adderall is a garbage drug, but the original manufacturer, in conjunction with Smith, Kline Glaxo, made it the only IR game in town. Shire made an excellent generic for Dexedrine (d-amhetane tablets) and then pulled them the week before Adderall was introduced. I could give you a page of what;s wrong with Adderall clinically but the best adjective is irrational. Lots of generic Adderall is very inequivalent to the solum of its brand name parts (although I don't think I've seen brands for al but D-Amheptamine S04 and Dl-Amphetamine SO4).

Not at all. But I wised up in time and got my life on track. I've never disclosed this on a forum (the way I got all those drugs), but you're important enough to me to tell the truth. My life is great now - usually anxieties, etc., but on a few meds and no antipsychotics.
