If it doesn't make since to you then you obviously haven't been on these meds and if you are you're doing something wrong. What year did you start abusing opiates(1996). What year did first try suboxone(2004). What year did you first have buprenorphine (1997).

are you asking me? i first used H in 1984, subutex in 2009. not sure if that was for me tho....

EVERYONE; those of you who are going from subutex or suboxone to zubsolv? my doctor says its not a straight one-to-one as far as the dose. so you are going to need MORE zubsolv. which is why a lot of you are saying its not as good or not as strong. too bad their seems to be quite a few uninformed doctors out there. i am so thankful that i had the BEST. do some research on it, talk to other doctors...if the stuff isnt "holding" you, then you know you are going to end up in "trouble". we are opiate addicts. we have screwed up our own brain chemistry and our endorphins. we HAVE TO have a sufficient amount of ORT (opiate replacement therapy) going on or we will fail. good luck to all of you.

I hate the change it tastes horrible and it is not as strong. At the end of the day I'm wanting to go to the nearest drug dealer to get a fix. I've been in the clinic for a while and I was doing real good till they changed my medicine to zubsolv.

Yes I've tried it. After a 10 yr HEAVY opiate I got clean 4 months ago on sub's. Then at my last appt they said my ins won't cover em and I had to take Zub. Seemed awesome to me. Then I tried em. I F***ing HATE them. Makes me wana use, nowhere near as strong, the pills float around in my mouth. I go back in 2 weeks and am doing everything I can to get back on sub. Don't do it unless u have to. Sub film waaaay better

first off, you're a hack.. "the fda...", the fda allowed purdue to say oxycontin was not addictive. Second off, you are just repeating what zubsolv says on their website about the bioavailability. I think it's just corporate pharmaceutical bullsh*t. They say, oh bioavailability, and now they save 2.3mg of bupe per pill, which adds up, and we all know how expensive bupe is. You're telling other people they're not intelligent, while you are spewing the fda and the pharmaceutical corporation's lies/ exaggerations. You are the stupid one, because you're putting other people down while you, yourself obviously believe everything you read, especially corporate propaganda! Don't believe everything you read!

you are basically not being given enough zubsolv because the dosage is different. my doctor and my self are both in awe (not in a good way) of how many doctors out there dont even know how much to prescribe to people. 16 mgs of suboxone and 16 mgs of zubsolv are NOT the same thing. unreal!

Wow. You need a new doctor. One 5.7 Zubsolv pill is roughly the same strength as one 8 sub film. You need less of the Zubsolv, not more. Some say that it is weaker then subs but they're just experiencing a placebo effect. They are used to the sub, like the sub, and therefore do not feel good when they don't get it. I have taken both. First sub for an extended period of time, then Zubsolv (which I currently take) for a few months. The Zubsolv works faster, is cheaper, and is just as strong. However the suboxone did seem to last a little bit longer. If you have an adequate supply and take it multiple times a day, te zubsozlv is better over all in my opinion.

nope, you need more of the zubsolv, not less. you are wrong. this is why almost every single person on here is saying that it isnt as "good" and they arent getting enough. i dont need a new doctor; he is the leading addiction specialist in colorado and was the addiction specialist for the denver nuggets NBA team. doctors come to HIM when they start prescribing zubsolv and suboxone, to find out how to do it RIGHT!. theres a reason everyone on here is saying its not "holding" them. their dosages are all off! you can tell me im wrong, hes wrong, etc. but i know for a fact that what he is saying is correct.

So they say at least. They claim it has a better "bio-availability" but I haven't tried it. I would be curious to know how many of the people saying it doesn't hold them knew what the Mg. dosage was "before" they tried it. There most definitely is a psychological component to opiate addiction. I've seen it in others and have experienced it myself (e.g. taking oral drugs and feeling a bit of relief the second it hits your stomach...because you know it won't be long now lol). As opposed to taking it blindly. I also have to wonder if any drug taken via the same pathway but with some difference in the delivery system by two different patients (or the same person over 2 dosage periods), is really going to amount to the 28-29% in efficacy. That's quite a claim. There's some flaw in taking it blindly too. If asked a person that may not be sure yet how they feel might hem-haw around and say they feel about the same or even say because they think it's what you want to hear (gee...I can't even imagine a drug maker taking advantage of that situation to bolster claims).
So, as always, it's going to come down to a matter of individuality

LOL...The worm has turned I see!! By 2.9 mg's to be exact. It would appear that Orexo doesn't feel so hot about their delivery system after all. I think we all know the real reason for the new release. Regardless of how they feel about the delivery system they hear and see (in forums like this one that you can bet your bippy they monitor. I cite post 208), that people are unhappy with their new drug. So, what do they do? They (like any other drug co. these days), make a stronger dosage yes. If we can't make new addicts lets keep the ones we have happy! Corporate greed knows no bounds

No. You can't use opiates on any of the suboxone products. You can, but you would probably have to double the amount or triple the amount of opiates. You just won't feel it. This is not a pain medication. If it is it's a very weak one. Would not recommend it for that. Also- if you take your methadone dose first- and then take a sub dose, it can send you into withdrawals. Nothing nice.

However you cannot be prescribed 3 of the 8mg zubsolv daily. It was "designed " so people can take less pills... I hate orexeo

I am a long-term opiate abuser and have taken suboxone for over a year. The last few months I switched to zubsolv and didn't experience any problems. I have been cutting back slowly. I have been at 1mg - 1/8th a pill for 10 days. Going to basically go to pill crumbs soon. I just wanted to state my experience with zub, since I read all bad stuff about it, and people say the good is propaganda. Best wishes to a all :)

My Dr's office said that its 50/50. Some people who switch have 0 problems and then there's people like myself who went through HELL for a month
