What Do Suboxone Look Like?

A friend of my husbands mentioned that he was taking subxone. I was curious as to what it was. He showed one to me but it looks exactly like a generic percocet but has different numbers. They are a round white pill with nothing on one side and on the other are the numbers 54 411. however, the only description i'm finding is oval and orange. Is this suboxone or something else?

There is no generic for Suboxone. Suboxone itself is an orange octagon tablet. It has N8 on one side and what looks like a high cross on the other side.
There is a generic for Subutex. It is a white tablet and has 54 411 on one side. The 54 is above the 411. Hope this helps. Instead of relying on people who will take advantage of you, try the easy way. Get yourself a Suboxone provider.

Been_There is correct, this is an 8mg Buprenorphine tablet, generic for Subutex and there is no generic right now for Suboxone.

It is, however, the same active ingredient, but Suboxone also contains Naloxone, to prevent the use of other narcotics while you are being treated with it.

Susie Q, no, it is not a legal U.S. approved Suboxone, so there is no way of knowing what that pill contains.

U.S. prescription drugs are ALL required by law to have an imprint to enable their identification.

Are ther any other questions?

Let me tell why so you can understand. I have a friend that used Heroin for 10 years. The Suboxone to get off Heroin. My friend has been weening off of suboxone for about 8 months now. We get the pills & I break them up. he is down to 1 pill breaking up over 8 days. that's aprox. 1 milligram per day. I want something I can break up and add to the tiny chip he is now getting that looks the same and over time increase until he only gets the placebo for a long time. I THINK the amount he is getting currently at 1 dose per day is so tiny that most of the effect is psychological. so I need a pill I can break into tiny pieces that doesn't taste cherry but is pink in color. anyone have any ideas?
