Valium Use For Suboxone Withdrawels

I was on heroin for 13yrs I then went onto Meth big Mistake !!! after 14day & hitting 5 1/2 Stone ,, with sickness and not being able to eat i was put on suboxone, after 1yr I Tapered down i hit WD at 2mg After a week I went down to 1/2 a 2mg pill for 3 days The though why am i dragging this out. Im now on my 6th day But Still feel terrible Not as Bad as I Was, After reading a Doc on utube he said in his clinic he uses Tramadol and Valium to help get some sleep@ the prescribe dose 2 in the morning 2 @ 6pm & 2 @ 10.30/11.00pm these seem to helping my legs a little as i suffer from arthritis, I take the valium 10mg 2 in the morning 2 @ 6pm & 2 @ 10.30/11.00pm so i am not Taking these to het High or abusing Them, But What Im Wondering is How Long Should i do this for ive been told Two Weeks And to Start Cutting down the valium in that Time..I Know Some peeps will not agree what im Doing But Its My Choice and after 13 yrs of Substance abuse I am willing to do anything to get Clean, And I Know Through Many a Cold Turkey I Just Cant Do It As My Weight always let me down as my Body is Far to weak To Do it, as im Still Struggling to eat !! Which aint Helping...

The Valium is something that you also have to be very careful with and taper it very slowly. It is a Benzodiazepine and withdrawing from it too quickly creates the risk of seizures.

You can't just stop anything cold turkey after over 10 years of using. So you're taking 40 milligrams a day. That's nothing to play around with. Try breaking them in half slowly and fiddle around until you find a comfortable way of cutting back. Best of luck to you
