Why is Pur bloka being used in the treatment of migraine and Anachroid cyst? ## Pur-Bloka contains the active ingredient propranolol hydrochloride, in doses of 10 or 40mg tablets. Propranolol Hydrochloride's principal effect is to reduce the response of the heart to stress and exercise and it reduces blood pressure in patients with hypertension. The indications for this drug however, have no apparent relation to Arachnoid cysts or migraine headaches. The only conclusion I can reach is that Propranolol may help with specific symptoms or your body's response to such conditions; possibly allowing your body to relax when either of these conditions could make someone restless with insomnia. Just a thought.. but I hope this helps! Have you discussed this yet with any doctor or physici...

capsule ## What is better as a stimulant?Adderall or vivanse?which gives u more energy and awareness?which one is bed for focasing? ## Vyvanse and Propranolol are not usually prescribed together, since Vyvanse is a stimulant that can cause elevations in your blood pressure, and heart rate, according to FDA reports. Other side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, weight loss, and anorexia. Amy, it really depends on which one works best for you. What has your physician prescribed? Have you tried either of these medications? It should also be noted that NIH warns that this class of medications carries the risk of being habit forming.

I just received my refill and they just gave me proprananol instead of proprananol er, is there a difference?capsules verses pills ## The only difference is that those capsules are time released over an extended period of time; as opposed to the normal tablet that goes in your system all at once. The capsules will stay in your system longer because of this extended release (ER). Not all capsules have this function, so it is really just when you see abbreviations like ER or SR (slow release), that you should expect the effects to last longer. Please post back if you have any other general questions or concerns about this drug. ## have been taking a "Propranolol capsule ER (80MG)" each day to treat essential tremor. Hi I need help. Ive been getting regular and optical migrains since I was 19, I am now 45. About 6 months ago I sadly went to walmarts 60 mg inderal tablets to save as I am struggeling instead of my regular inderal 60 mg capsule LA that I have been taking most my life, but the past few months the optical migrains were happening every few days instead of say once a month or so. I went back to the capsules Oct. 17th almost 2 weeks ago and I am still getting the optical ones every few days. Yes there is a lot of stress in my life but there always has been. What is stronger: Propranolol 20mg or Oxycontin? ## Hi rose, I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but Propranolol and Oxycontin are two completely different medications. One is for high blood pressure and one is for pain relief, so there's really no logical way to compare their efficacy. You also can't compare two medications without knowing the dosage of both of them. can i break the tablet in half ## I have been taking 10 mg of propranolol twice a day. My heartrate was around 52-70 and I was feeling like I had no energy most of the time. I have been breaking the tablets in half and I am taking a half a tablet twice a day but at times my heartrate is around 100-110 and I am feeling anxious. Should i be concerned? ## I certainly hope Jen found an answer to her question, or consulted her doctor. As to her heart rate issues, the 52 to 70 really isn't a concern, that's fairly close to normal, the normal resting rate for an adult is 60 to 100, so the 52 isn't severely low and the 70 is right in the proper range. ….some well trained athletes may have a heart rate of only 40 or so, at rest, because they are in top shape and the...
