Percocet 10 Mg And Pregnancy

I have been taking percocet everyday for the past week but I am pregnant and I have my baby in 10 days. Will it be detected in me and my baby's system when I have her?

Not if you stop now. Opiates have a short life and leave your system within 4 days. Drink a lot of water.

You should, however, be made aware that there is a possibility of your baby being born addicted, since the active narcotic in Percocet is Oxycodone.

And, if that is the case, the hospital will definitely notice and they will do more in-depth testing to discover what is causing the problem.

okay my friend just found out yesterday she was pregnant she has currently been taking 30 mg oxycodone she had no idea h she had a blessing inside of her she needs to go to the doctor how long does it take this medicatio to get out of her system for a blood test or urine test. she is also going to stop! needed a change in her life she washeaded down the wrong road someone said to take methadone so the baby wont dt of course she did how long does it stay in your system im lost dont know whats best at the moment to tell her she has cred and cried afraid she has hurt it but its still early right?

really new to this and hope my reply is not to late but after reading i could not walk away...methadone is evil and very toxic to a baby also the use of the 30s is obviously just as bad it will leave her system but extended use takes longer because it is built up in her body, suboxone however is safe to take during a pregnancy and is a much more effective and safe way compared to the methadone, im a mother myself and studied the body and medicine for almost 7 yrs i would not lie or guess when it comes to the health of a baby, you sound like a good friend i wish her and the baby lots of luck just remind your friend she is not a bad person she just made some poor decisions and i dont know anyone who can stand up and say they never did. most important part to mother hood is strentgh she will need alot of it stand by her side you will both be great

I have done more research myself and I found out it does stay in our systems because of the time period of taking them but I want to know will that lead up to cps taking the baby?
