Pain Doc In Jersey

I HAVE SPINAL STENOSIS, 7 DD, HAD IV's, EUPHORIC MANIA RESULTED, NEUROSURGEON HAD DR PUT ME ON PAIN MEDICATION. WAS ON 6 OXYCODONES, 20 MGS/DAY. DR GETTING FED PRESSURE AND WAS ADVISED TO SEND TO PAIN MANAGEMENT. THE NY DRUG LAWS HAVE CHANGED AND PAIN DOC IS ONLY WILLING TO DO IV's, AFTER MAKING ME DETOX OFF THE OXY. NOW IN SUCH PAIN. ANYONE KNOW A GOOD DOC IN N NJ WHO CAN HELP. BY THE TIME I FAX OVER ALL INFO, ETC IT TAKES A MONTH OR MORE TO GET IN, AND THIS TIME AFTER ALL THAT HE ONLY DID IV's. Hello, Kaylee! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain.

However, you're not going to find a pain management doctor that isn't going to want you to try the other treatment options first, before they prescribe you medications.

What type of IV treatment was tried? Once might not be enough to get great results.

Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?

I have had several injections that I have a severe reaction to. It is Manic Euphoria, which felt good at the time, till my doctor realized after several weeks had also jacked my BP into the 200/160 range. Took several months to control. My doctor does not want any more injections due to the reaction, the fact I already have high blood pressure, and my dad died of a major heart attack at 43.
