I have stumbled upon what looks to be an OC 80 just a bit larger in size. This pill has same imprint 80 on one side; in same position; and same writing style as the OC / 80. The opposite side has a P in the middle. There are no other identifying markings I can share. The pill looks strikingly similar to the OC / 80's, green with what looks to be same coating. The only other identifying piece of information I can share is after breaking it, it is not gel forming either. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on this pill? My thoughts are maybe this is a pharmaceutical co that does not supply the US, and maybe someone has seen them also. Any ideas? ## I am not certain who the manufacturer is, but this tablet contains 80mgs of time released Propranolol, the active ingredient in I...

how long do op 80 stay in your system? i have to take a urine test and would like to know. ## It really depends on how much you took and how long of a period of time you were taking it. Usually, it is processed out within 48 to 72 hours, but this can vary. If you have a prescription, then you just need to inform them of this, when you go in to have the test done. Do you have any other questions? ## Why worry if you have a scrip dude? Again people who do not need them take them die now there is a problem,I see and read all you drug addicts are in trouble only cause you can not get high if you have pain they work, the same way.

Is this brand of Oxycontin 80 mg ER going to stay on the market as an Ethex generic form? ## There is currently no generic Oxycontin available and there will not be for the foreseeable future. They did away with the generic several years ago to help prevent abuse and diversion, so you can only get the name brand from Purdue Pharma and all of that is being switched to the new Oxycontin OP. There are generics available of the regular release and the immediate release formulations and Ethex does make those, but no generic of the time released. Do you have any other questions?

expired in 2003 ## Oxycodone does not get dangerous after its expiration, however, it can lose effectiveness and not work as well. Since it's been 7 years, I am betting that what you have is probably not going to work to treat pain after all this time. In many cases, when someone uses an expired medication, they end up taking more and more of it, to try to get the same level of effectiveness and this is not a safe practice. The smartest thing to do would be to safely dispose of the tablets. Do you have any questions?

football shape letter m on one side ## First, I would like to state that there is no generic or Oxycontin in the United States. It was banned several years ago, due to abuse an is only manufactured by Purdue Pharma in the name brand. However, there is generic products available for both Roxicodone, the regular release formula and OxyIR, the instant release. As to the type you have and the dosage, I cannot tell you that, without more specifics on the imprint. There are several that have an M marking, without knowing if it is in a box or a plain M and any additional numbers on the tablet, I cannot give you any precise information. Can you please post back with more details?

how to verify your medication is the real reformulated oxycontin pill. Is the OP a bigger pill than the OC? ## There have been a few comments that it is slightly bigger than the originals and the marking should tell you what it is. If it has an OP on one side and the dosage number on the opposite, then it is the new Oxycontin OP. Side effects are supposed to remain the same: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. oxycontin 80 OP ## Yes, this is a new product from Purdue Pharma, it is replacing the regular Oxycontin. is oxycontin op safe for patients with high blood pressure? ## There are no warnings listed and I know the doctor in the ER prescribed the regular release Oxycodone for me and my cardio doc also didn't have a problem with my taking it with my HBP. Most narcotics actually lower blood pressure and are more of a danger to someone with Hypotension. The only thing that has changed in the new OP formulation is the attempt to prevent abuse, by altering it so that if someone tries to crush or chew it, it retains its time released properties.
