I just found some of these in my son's room. He claims they are antidepressants (he is not on any medication) but I can not find any pill ID in any search I have done.

40 1011 does contain 40mgs of Citalopram, a generic for Celexa, this is an antidepressant.

It is, however, a prescription only medication, so you may wish to inform your son that having and using it without one is illegal, plus prescription drugs of any type can be dangerous to use without a doctor's supervision.

Coommon side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and dizziness.

You can read more on this medication here:

Gerry please check the spelling in the description, giving a false description can be extremely dangerous to readers who dont know what the pill may be. had it not been for Rx Chemest up there, you would probibly have got that poor kid in trouble. IT'S CITALOPRAM 40mg. ive been on them for a couple months now. cant say theyre very effective, atleast not for me.
to the mother who asked, if your son has perscription pills without a script, he likely got them from friends.
!!! because of the epidemic of perscription abuse and opiate addiction in the us, and mainly florida, i urdge you to keep an eye on him. i have many close friends who have been in and out of rehab and 4 have died in the past 2 years. please protect your son from these, if you want to keep him alive.

An overdose of citalopram (generic celexa) which this is, can cause suicidal thoughts in anyone. But even a normal dose not monitored by a Dr can cause suicidal thoughts in a teen or young adult.

Get him help and fast!
