Opana & Oxycontin

Are opana's and oxycontin the same pills? I've heard they were!

No, Oxycontin contains a time released formulation of Oxycodone.

How to avoid drug testing at pain Dr. Try scheduling your appointments in middle of your refill schedule, meaning you will have half of your monthly meds at the time of visit. This will allow you to show your meds to prove you are not abusing script, thus allowing some doctors to keep from testing you to see if you are abusing script. As for proving you are taking the medicine, simply skip does before visit....tell him you are your own driver that day and didn't take anything for the drive...which is proper; but it should also leave you in pretty visible discomfort, both withdrawals and real pain issues will be visibly evident. I have found this is also the best way to get increases in dosage, or medication. Don't ask, just let them see you at worse. But do NOT embelish. I just learn so much from the board and other people's experiences at pain Dr.; I just wanted to offer my two cents to try to help others...I read so many questions on this issue.
