Missed Period On 7th Pack Of Lo Loestrin Fe

Hi,

I just finished my 7th pack of Lo Loestrin Fe yesterday, but did not get a period during that pack. During the first pack, I had a 10-day long period with mild bleeding. Second pack, I had no period. Third pack onward, I've been getting a regular period, every 28 days, of light bleeding for three to five days.....until now. I take my pill regularly at 9 am every morning. Has anyone else experienced missing a period on Lo Loestrin so late in the game?

I should also probably add I've only had one sexual partner and we never use protection, but he pulls out before ejaculation. There have been times where we've slipped up, but we have never had a pregnancy scare.

I know there are some people who don't get periods at all on this birth control pill, but is there anyone who has gotten regular periods on this pill but then missed one random period after going through so many packs? Is that normal at all for this pill?

Have you contacted your doctor?

It can be normal to miss your menstrual cycle, while taking hormonal contraceptives, even if it has been regular for quite awhile. There are many factors that can contribute to this happening, mostly changes in your body due to illness, or stress.

I am in a similar situation. I have been on BC for almost 8 years, on lo loestrin I would have been on my 6th pack now. I always had regular periods, did not get a period after my 5th pack. I also have unprotected sex my husband, I am now over 2 weeks late. Will be contacting my doctor if I don't get anything by next week.

I'm on my 7th pack now and am experiencing the same thing - did you two ladies end up getting your period? I'm fairly regular with my pills, this month more so than other months, but I accidentally took two on one day this month (making the cycle 27 days instead of 28)
