From what I can find, Metaspan is a nutritional supplement that contains a complex of B vitamins, which are vital to your overall health. Information is difficult to find though, so it may contain some additional ingredients, I am not certain.

The Folic Acid in this is especially important to women that are pregnant, or trying to become pregnant.

Metaspan is source of vitamine B ie. Methylcobalamine. But this is drug of ajanta pharmaceutical and promated by cardiac division. It is basically prescribed for diabetic neuropathy. It treats symptoms like burning sensation in feet, numbness and tingling effect. It treats by repairing covering on nerves and thus regenerates neurons and improve senses. It is very often happens that diabetic patients loose their senses so it is drug gives treatment. Yes it can be given by physician without any cause also as it contens products that are water soluble and easily washed out by human body. Thus it has very rare sideeffects.
