Mfg. Actavis Selling Bad Pills A333 (Top voted first)

I filled my prescription at Walgreens, it was supposed to be percocet 10/325. When I took the pill I noticed that I was still in pain an hr. later. So i checked the markings on it and it was marked a333, I have gotten generics before and they appeared to work so I thought I may have been given the wrong pill so I started researching and found I was not the only one experiencing this issue with these pills. I went to the pharmacy the next day and the pharmacist said ACTAVIS is NOW the only mfg. of this pill besides WATSONS which is extremely expensive and explained to me that they are very hard to get now because of one company buying out another and so on. The pharmacist refused to take the pills back She then suggested I call my dr.I then got upset and told her my insurance paid $150.00 for a non-effective batch of pills which I returned, plus I paid my co-pay.and said that is funny we switched you to these pills in June. Mabey that is why I had to increase the amount of pills I was taking from 1 a day to 2 and 3 times a day last month, which I also found strange because he increased the dosage from 5 to 10 which should have been stronger; and my Dr. had to also increase my pill amount from 30 to 60 so I can take 2 a day now. She then suggested I call my dr.I then got upset and told her my insurance paid $150.00 for a non-effective batch of pills which I returned, plus I paid my co-pay. I began getting very upset after this long rat race back and forth, I am on crutches because I have a broken ankle in 3 places plus I have nerve damage which is very painful and is increased because I am on crutches. She said in order for her to take it off the computer and refund the ins. so they will then cover the proper medication she would need the pills.( Which the pharmacist refused to take earlier and made me take to the Dr. for him to discard). BY the time I was done going back and forth to the Dr. and Pharmacy it was 5pm and the Dr. office was closed,(which the pharmacist could have told the Dr. when they spoke on the phone while I was there turning in the defective a333 pills). I now have to pray that for some reason the dr.did not destroy these pills so I can go back to the Dr. again in the am to give the WALGREENS pharmacist back the defective pills so she will then return my insurance there money and they will then refill my proper pills at another pharmacy. SOMEONE REALLY NEEDS TO LET THE FDA KNOW THAT THIS MFG. ACTAVIS IS SELLING FAKE NON-EFFECTIVE PILLS. I now sit here in extreme pain because of these fake a333 pills, if she does not refund my insurance I will call my insurance and let them know that the pills were discarded and they should not pay. I feel that is wrong and no different than stealing. And because of Walgreens trying to pass these fake pills I have to suffer because they refuse to refund my insurance so I can get the right pain meds.......WRONG!!!!WRONG!!! WRONG!!! CVS AND WALGREENS pass these a333 mfg.Actavis!!! Plz. Be aware and let your pharmacy know if you are getting non effective pills so they can report to the FDA.....

The Actavis a333 does not work!!!!I have been taking Watson and Mallinkrodt for 3 years and never had a single issue.

Then 2 months ago...I was given Actavis a349. It worked almost as good as the watson. The next month...I was given Actavis a333...it didn't work at all.

Its the a333 FORMULATION that's the issue.

I called Actavis and filed a complaint. They agreed but said they couldn't replace them so I'm stuck in pain..I hope they start supplying a formula that works and stop ripping us off....a lot of people have been affected.

I've seen posts since January 2014 about a333 pills.....and so many complaints!

By calling Actavis about their bad a333 pills...they will refund you the cost of the pills which is a lot of money for most of us.

We have to suffer for the rest of the month so its better to complain than put up with it.... because the next month...were going to get the same a333 pills again as almost all the pharmacies have Actavis now.

I picked up my prescription, Zolpidem generic for Ambien, from Walgreen on 9/5/14. Pharmacist said Actavis is the new manufacturer now. Prior, the manufacturer was Anchen for at least the past 3 or 4 yrs or so. I've been taking Actavis A1 for 15 days and am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the side effects from this manufacturer. From the moment I get up in the morning, at 6a, until I go to bed at night 11:30p-1a., I feel sluggish, disconnected, dopey, etc. during the entire time I am awake. I never experience this side effect with the prior manufacturer.
Also, the pills which are yellow, stick together while in the capsule. I keep my 2 meds in my night stand drawers next to my bed. I also have a few empty capsules in my night stand. When I reached into the drawer for the Zolpidem and shook the capsule to ensure I had the capsule that had the pills in it, there was no sound because All THE PILLS WERE STICKING TOGETHER. If I press a pill on my finger, the pill STICKS to my finger. What ingredient is causing the pills to STICK. It is my duty to contact the FDA. In the meantime, all that is left is to pray for a MIRACLE within the FDA or BEYOND the FDA. Will pray for those individuals whose taken this manufacturer's brand whose far worse off than me due to their bodies not responding to relief from pain.
