Zolpidem Overview

Zolpidem, sold as the brand name Ambien among others,[1] is a sedative primarily used for the treatment of trouble sleeping. It usually works within 15 minutes, and has a short half-life of two to three hours. Zolpidem has not adequately demonstrated effectiveness in maintaining sleep, unless delivered in a controlled-release (CR) form. However, it is effective in initiating sleep.[2] Its hypnotic effects are similar to those of the benzodiazepine class of drugs. In 2013, the Food and Drug Ad...

Yes this little Peach tablet is Zolpidem I take these but I don't like them because I still wake up twice during the night and I'm Up by 4 a.m. and can't get back to sleep I used to take the same medication but in a small white tablet and I only needed half of one and I would sleep all night long I don't know if it's the manufacturer that makes him or not but this one is by Torrent. It is weaker than the small white tablet with the 6469/V on it.

Zolpidem Generic

ALL CVS pharmacies just changed the zolpidem from MYLAN manufacturer (out of PA) to TORRENT in India. Because generics can certain behave differently, I am nervous about taking the (10 mg) oblong peach Torrent brand one after reading some things online. I also don't like the idea of CVS using from out of the country manufacturer which HAS to be due to a better price because MYLAN brand is still very readily available. any comments? ## The country doesn't matter, as long as the manufacturer has approval from the FDA for their products to be sold in the U.S., CVS or any other pharmacy, can stock their products. There can be some differences in generic medications, however, this usually doesn't affect the greater number of the people that take it. If you are aware of how it nor...

round orange pill bought in mexico as zolpidem is this ok to take,i have never bought indian generics before
6 Replies RSS
bought in mexico it is scored on one side.I bought it as generic ambien but I don't even know the strength of the pill can anyone help me? ## Are there any markings on the tablet? If not, it will be virtually impossible to confirm what it is, unless you would pay to have it lab tested. This is one of the hazards of buying foreign medications. I've not even seen this tablet mentioned, before. I am sorry, I wish I could be of more help. Is anyone else familiar with this tablet? ## Did you ever take the ambien you got from Mexico or find out any more info on it? I just got some as well. Round, orange tablets. Scored one one side and unmarked on the other. It should be 10mgs but I have no way of telling or even telling if its generic ambien. I got it at Discount Pharmacy in Nogales,...

Anti-depressant ## Can Trepiline cause water retention or swollen and painful lower legs where the skin and muscles are actually painful to the touch ## Since this is not available in the US, it is not listed in our monograph, however I did find a page with some information on it for you: ## I have been using 25g trepiline per day for 30 days now, it has helped me to sleep normally again, it has also helped reduce my migraine attacks. I used to have at least 6 - 8 a month, this last month I only had 3, apparantly they will go away completely. This in itself has changed my life!! the only side effects i am experiencing are very sore joints during the night and early in the mornings in my hands and feet. I walk like an old lady for about 30 minutes before it goes away and i can start my d...

Ambien Zolpidem 10mg - round orange tablet from Mexico
19 Replies RSS
Info needed. Does anyone know if Ambien (Zolpidem) 10 mg from Mexico comes in a small 1/4" round, lightish orange color tablet (white inside). Scorned on one side and unmarked on the other side? Does anyone know if there is a Mexican pill identifier website? How can I tell if they are real or is Zolpidem 10mg even made like that? Is anyone familiar with these or have taken them ok? ## Unfortunately, when you order from a foreign sources, this is one of the hazards. Other than paying to have it lab tested, there is no way to be certain what you have received. There is no website to identify them, because their products are not regulated like their U.S. counterparts and they are not required to log their imprints. Is anyone familiar with these? ## I got this pill from a US phamacy. No...

Need to know what this pill is. It's a small round pill with the following imprints on each side: Side (1): 2 / Z Side (2): 2 / 29 I don't know if there's any additional information I can provide in order to find out what it is. ## Is it a round pink tablet? If so, I believe the marking is intended to be SZ 229, it is manufactured by Sandoz and they list it as containing 12.5mgs of Zolpidem, which is a generic for Ambien, it is used for the short-term treatment of insomnia. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, funny taste in mouth, hallucinations, sleep actions, and next-day hangover-like effects.

I have been taking zolpidem 10mg due to not sleeping. I did fine on Mylan zolpidem for years. Now I'm having stomach issues on Northstar zolpidem. Is anyone else experiencing the same symptoms? ## What type of stomach issues? Are you sure they are due to the Zolpidem? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, funny taste in mouth, hallucinations, sleep actions, and next day hangover-like effects. Are you on any other medications? Has anything else changed in your diet, recently?

Zoltnite 10mg details
2 Replies RSS
I just received a prescription of these that originated from India. I took one dose last night but I'm not sure it really worked. I just slept for about 4 hours. Does anyone know about this medicine or have taken it? ## In my investigation, Google and other search engines have nothing on Zoltnite, other than a couple black market references suggesting that it may be related to Zolpidem (Ambien). Since Zolpidem is really the closest matching drug name I could find and is indicated for use as a sleep aid, I can only imagine that Zoltnite (based on its name) may be used for similar purposes... Does your prescription or product packaging mention who the manufacturer is? ## HELLO: THIS MED ZOLT NITE-10mg IS MANUFACTURED BY DIGITAL VISION PHARMA. FOR OTHER MEDICAL DISTRIBUTORS. YOU CAN LO...

53 Replies RSS
I've been takin zolpidem E 79 for a while n works great. But my local pharmer filled my script wit the purple round pill with M Z2 on it. I no they should work but I jus took my 2nd one in bout 2 hrs while I'm writing this. Is it jus me or r the purple ones weaker. Like I said I'm wide awake this sux. ## No, it isn't just you! There can be differences in generic medications. Under the U.S. FDA regulations, generic medications can differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%. Additionally, generics only have to measure against the name brand and not against each other, which means that the amount of the active ingredient can differ from one generic to the next. Therefore, the news pill you received may not have as muc...
