Losartsn Hctz 100 / Losartan
UpdatedMy Dr changed me from Losartan HCTZ 100 to Losartan ... I've recently been diagnosed as a diabetic but I've been on low Losartan HCTZ for over 10 years and I'm wondering with the change this is going to have on my body . Am I going to retain lots of water and become swollen will my bp rise does anyone know ?

It is possible, but there's way to know ahead of time, until you try taking it for a couple weeks. Have you made the switch, yet?
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
