Im Looking For A Dr. To Monitor My Pain Medication Legally
UpdatedI had a bad accident , I was in the Military and messed up my back even more. I've had nothing but problems having just one DR. and stop being treated like a convict, drugatic etc .etc. I just want to function like a normal person, sleep the right amount of hours. I don't abuse my medications, I started using these 2 yrs before getting medically retired from the military. We where tested for drugs constantly over and over and that did not bother me, what bothers me is that the minute I was out of the military I began having problems getting this prescription. The VA prescribed something that I had tried before, but did not work (Naproxen). I felt as if I was talking to the wall. I suffeed for a week to two weeks from withdrawals . What a horrible experience. I felt alone and almost felt like I wanted to die. I knew I would not be able to live with that type of pain, Panick attacks, depression and other medical issues all due to the military. I was a good soldier. I was promoted before being release and then I was dropped like a hot potatoe. Now days Im lucky if I get 4 hours sleep. I have deep dark circles under my eyes as I feel exhausted throughout the day. There is no chance of me getting a decent job and I have a Bachelors degree. Please I need a DR, That understands what Im going through and that is willinf to look at my records instead of putting me through the entire process that took 2 years in the Army. These Dr's want me to do everything again...shots, done, chiropractor, done, aqua therapy done, physical therapy done, Tense unit done, Hot and cold done, MRI's CT's done Xrays done,. I am not Dr. shopping nor trying to fill prescriptions at different places. I will sign a new contract and fire the last Dr. I saw. He talked down to me rather than to me, very condescending, short and almost a I'm God attitude and you are at my mercy. I JUST WANT ONE DR. I WANT TO DO EVERYTHING THE RIGHT WAY AND LEGALLY and follow instructions from my new Dr. You have no idea what it would mean. I will be able to play with my kids, have dinner instead of trying to fall asleep at 6:30 so I wont feel anymore pain, I want to be able to help my wife with the upkeep of this huge house. Be normal or as close as normal. I read that there is a medication that is long lasting 12 hrs and then use the Percocet for brake thru pain when is to much. I don't know the answers or treatments. I have problem from C4 to T11, T12, L1 and some bulging discs as well as my muscles all this due to a motorcycle accident and then miles and miles of rucking with weight on my back as well s everyday running. There has to be somebody out there that can help me. I don't care what contracts I have to sign as that is not the problem. I have a PCM that send me somewhere else for Behavioral health and then to a pain management Dr. which I explained his attitude above.If I don't get help Im afraid this doctor is going o want me to do shots again , and then this and that while in the mean time Im suffering at home because is not like they see you s few times a week. Each visits are 2 to 3 to 4 weeks apart. Well my pain is chronic and very real. Almost as if have a really bad toothache and there is nothing I can take. I have bottles of Tylenol, aleve, ibuprofen but none of them help. PLEASE DR. I NEED HELP
