I Need Suboxone To Show Up On My Drug Screen (Page 8)

I have been taking blue Xanax for the past couple of days and my Suboxone Dr, who I am scheduled to see on Friday, does regular drug screens to make sure that only Suboxone is in my system. I've gotten one of my friend's urine to use on Friday. Only problem is, they don't take Suboxone! Can I sprinkle some crushed up Suboxone in their clean urine to show up that I'm clean besides Suboxone? If I just use the clean urine, he will know that it's a hoax because I've been testing clean but with Suboxone and there's no way I can go without taking it. But I can't just pee my own pee, because I was made to sign a form when I started treatment with him that states that an individual who tests dirty for Benzodiazepines SPECIFICALLY will be booted out of his clinic and cancelled as a patient. So, can't I just crush up a little Suboxone and put it in the clean urine or will that not work? Help!

I don't know why people are being attacked for asking questions. The last few times I have gone I used another's urine, and dissolved a very small peice (sub film) into it. She tested using a panel test and a faint line always comes up under opiates. Then she will use two seperate tests, one for suboxone and one for roxys. A faint line still came up under roxys, but all was fine with the suboxone test. Now if it happens again she said she will take my urine to a lab. Now I have to use my own urine (which will test positive for pot) and possibly get dropped. I don't want to chance dissolving a peice of film in urine in case she takes it to a lab. Wouldn't the lab results show that something is up?

If I dissolve a small peice of Suboxone film in clean urine and it goes to a lab, will the test come back showing what I did?

If you have clean urine (no drugs in it) and you put a very small amount of suboxone tablet/film into the urine it will result in a positive test for the suboxone AND opiates. The exact reasoning behind this I am not sure. In this situtation however I insisted to my doctor that I had not taken any medication other than my suboxone. I than Suggested that she take a blood sample which she did and when the lab results came back days later it showed I was negative for "bad" opiates and my doctor apologized and said the urine test must have be defective. The reason I did this and I'm sure the reason why many people want to know if "putting a small amount of suboxone in urine will result in a positive test for suboxone" is because people want to get high immediately after their test or continue to get their Subs for re-sale etc. This is an honest answer but having ur urine test for both Sub AND opiate is better than NO sub because than your doc can easily say you no longer require the scrip and cut you lose. Iv been with my sub doc for almost two years and have tried every game in the book. Any questions I can most likely answer.

Naturally testing positive for other drugs is not preferrable but with my doctor I was in college and sometimes would test positive for marijuana. My doctor would say "are you taking anything else to help you get off of the opiates" and I would say that I smoke weed from time to time. She would chuckle and say becareful they are like cigarettes but she is here to help get me off of opiates and not other drugs so that is her only concern, not weed. Which makes sense, I pay her to help me with opiate addiction, not anything else. I would not be concerned about weed, the medical community is much more receiving to it today than ever before and it really isnt anything to worry about UNLESS your doctor has specified that it is. Know the doctors limits and test the boundaries timidly.

Nick, I have shown up positive for pot before & she said normally she wouldn't care, but she thinks it means I am "hanging around" the wrong crowd and might relapse. I smoke by myself to chill out. That is all I do. She is to treat me for only roxy not pot. Any advise to say to her when she calls me on this?

They do have a test but it is only for suboxone,it won't show up on a regular drug test, the need to test specifically for suboxone.

well, what i do is always have some cheap test kits on hand. you can get 3 for prob. 10$..Then you would know. I am no expert but i do know that the tests detect metabolites of the drug. I have always thought the same question but didn't want to use a test if i thought the likelihood of it showing up was less than 50%. I would look up subs and see what it is metabolixed in the liver into. Then you know what the test actually screen for.

My situation is I do not take my FULL dose of suboxone. I take almost half. Starting next month my uds is also going to check my levels of suboxone. How can I make sure the correct levels are in my urine at the time of the uds?

No, it does not work. Putting sub directly into urine will provide a drug test result of Positive for BOTH suboxone AND opiates.

So to answer the question directly it would be yes "putting suboxone directly into urine will provide a Positive drug test result for suboxone" but you will still fail due to it also testing positive for opiates and this point cannot be ignored.

I have gotten around this by being totally clean (wanting to get high immediately after my appointment but still wanting my sub script) and putting sub (about .5mg of crushed or strip) directly into my urine, when doc says "what happened? You tested for opiates in addition to ur sub" I insist I have not used and insist she take a blood sample, she gives me a weeks supply till the results come back. I walk out, get high and have sub. Results for opiates come back neg and there ya go. The only thing is in a week you gotta go back and piss straight so this method will buy you time but can't go on forever and is only good for a few times a year.

No, if you put it in the urine you will test positive for opiates. I have done this and had a lot of explaining to do.

My question was not answered maybe one of you could of u can help me. I need to make sure the correct level of Suboxone is in my urine. I normally do not take my complete does. But the day of my test if I were to take my whole dose, will that be enough to make my "level" of sub correct?

Interestingly enough they cannot tell how much sub has been taken (if using a urine test or standard blood test) they only look to see that the drug is in your system. I take far less than prescribed and only need it to register in the urine. Even if you take an eighth of a tablet/strip (8mg of course) which is only 1mg it'll still show up. Through what iv searched I know there is a way for them to detect how much drug has been taken but that's usually for how LONG and this involves very expensive testing of the density of the drug in hair follicles and what not. Used for high profile DUI cases or something along those lines, not for us. If you take 1mg the day of or 32mg 3 days before your gonna show up positive for sub, they can merely see its "presence" not amount or duration. Granted if your urine is wicked diluted or you're on the threshhold of it being out of your system the color of the line on the urine test will be weaker but technically they must score this as a pass and let it go. Iv had this happen bc maybe I hadn't been taking it and took a small amount the morning of hoping it'd be enough to pass but not enough to prevent a high later and you can just say you had a big gatorate or iced coffee.

Okay I understand what you're telling me. I have been doing this for a couple years. I take the test every month but this month my paper states uds "plus suboxone level". I spoke to another patient and she has the same thing this month. Weird?

Interesting, if it states that then perhaps the DEA requested some extra testing be done to your doctors patients, I would most deff take a good amount the day of of not the day before. Your treading uncharted water, I hope its not a national thing or something.
