How Long Between Dosages?

Hello everyone! I was just wandering if anybody else is sometimes off by the timing of taking their suboxone? My Dr. Told me 2 try and take it at the same time every day. But a lot of times I'm off by 2-4 hours. Reason being is, I'm up a lot of nights in pain ( sometimes, half the night.) and, I'll take it a little earlier, or, fall back 2 sleep, and take it a little later. I get u/a every time I go 2 Dr. And, I don't want it 2 effect my results. I do only take the amount I'm suppose 2. This just started happening recently.

Being off a few hrs here and there shouldn,t effect your dose or u/a.
Subs have an unbelievably long half life.
My sub dr. told me that as far as pain is concerned subs only give relief for around 10hrs. Thats why he has me taking it 3 times a day. I didn,t go to him for pain issue.
I went to him for opiate problem. I,m just killing 2 birds with one stone this way.
He normally has patients take it once a day, first thing in morning.
Feel free to tell your dr. what my dr. said about dosing more frequently for pain relief.
It couldn,t hurt, no pun intended.

Dear Jolter, I'm on 24mg. A day. (3) 8 mg. but it just doesn't seen 2 do much 4 the pain after. I'm an opiate addict 2, that's why I'm on it. Been on it. 4 almost 8 years . Was addicted 2 Oxy. 4 almost 11 years. Thanks. 4 the info.
