I took 2 mg of Subutex on Saturday afternoon and was drug tested on Thursday afternoon ( 6 days ). How likely will it be detected in urine?

my question is, Ive been on Subutex for 6yrs, and I want off it. I don't think I need it, Actually I Know I don't need it. But I don't want to go thru the Withdrawl. So, My Question is, Can I take Vicoden with Subutex in my system, to keep from Withdrawling? I ask, because I know I wont have a problem at all Stopping the Vicoden. All, I need to know is, Can I Take Vicoden or Perc while Subutex is in my System Without Getting SICK???? Thx

They MUST do a very specific test for Sub to show at all. Many sites (i.e. pain clinics, doctor offices, work related urine tests) do basic tests that only show a Postive/Negative for "groups" of drugs. This means that if they get a Positive for Narcotics, for example, it will only show the positive and not the actual type of narcotic. So if you NEED to show a Positive for narcotics, then any narcotic will do, with the exception a few that only show when specifically tested for, like methadone, subutex, etc. You can easily find these lists online, along with the information on how long each ingestible stays in the system with urine, blood, and hair testing, by doing a basic search for medication/testing/system. These lists are normally very easy to understand and come in printable and/or PDF forms.
There are, however, variables in the time tables depending on how much of anything was taken, when it was taken, how long it has been taken, metabolism, consumption of liquids, frequency of urination, etc.
For anyone NOT wanting a Positive, then a heavy liquid diet is helpful, but no guarantee. Apple Cider Vinegar has been shown to be helpful in "clearing" the system when consumed the night before and the morning of the test. Noting that this is most helpful in the event of a urine test, and not for hair tests, etc.

I used to take suboxone for 3 years, I swithched to subutex and like it so much better. Im in a lot of pain, back, neck, spine, arthritis etc. It has taken my pain away!! Suboxone NEVER did!! But ive taken 20 so far of subutex, one a day, sometimes 2, depending on how I feel. Even though I prefer the Subutex, I want to get off of it too. It was too hard to try to get off suboxone EVERYTIME I tried, but all I did I feel was substitute it for something else. Does anyone know if the Subutex I just as hard to come of of? I wanted to try it cause before you know it a year goes by quick and I don't want to be on it even 1 year, But I could not handle the withdrwal!! It was BAD!! Any Suggestions anyone knows to do to come off it? I thought the opiate withdraw was bad, I wish ALL I had to do was come off the opiates cause now I know it was NOTHING compared to this stuff!! Why would they prescribe it?? They had to know the side effects of trying to come off it!! I don't understand how it can be done? Ive read so, so, many UNSUCCESSFUL stories where every person said they had to go back taking it cause the withdrawal was bad, they could not function, and could not miss work, and dragged ass REAL BAD when they tried to, that's why they couldn't. I didn't read one success story, Im sure there has to be some, maybe I just was reading from people who had no success trying to get clean, take NOTHING!! Now it scares me. Since Ive taken 20 subutex, How long til I feel sick and is it REAL SICK like the Suboxone. A Doctor told me, cause I said I only took opiates never heroin etc. He said I may as well been being on suboxone is the same as being on heroin, that it is way sronger than opiate. I had an operation, and was in SO much pain, cause they said I wasn't feeling the pain medication at all from taking Suboxone, and I had 27 stitches, and that REALLY SUCKED, I was so upset with myself that I couldn't get no relief at all from the pain meds.!! I was screaming crying in Pain, I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT, EVER!!! Any suggetions? I NEED to hear from someone maybe this has happened to or someone maybe you know? Like I said Tomorrow will be My first day with no subutex o suboxone, and Im getting anxiety just thinking about it, Emergecy cant do anything for you that I know of? I guess Rehab. and they leave you in Pain also! I really screwed up this time!!

IT IS NOT SAFE TO STOP TAKING SUB OR DONE DURING PREGNANCY!!! I know from my own experience. ANY FORM of WD will cause premature birth! My son was born at just 24 weeks bc I didn't think VERY SLIGHT WD's would affect my baby or myself, but I was WRONG!!!!

Even if they do the specific test for them do they show as buprofin?

I have a open case with dhr. And I was on subutex with my last baby and she was perfectly FINE but the case worker says I need to detox before this BABY is born.... WHAT am I supposed to do?

It will stay in the babies system the whole pregnancy. I quit taking subutex 3 months before I had my son and they still tested him and found subutex in his system. All they have to do is do a meconium test which is just fancy wording for testing ur babies poop. Which is the first poop they ever had and stays until they are born so they are able to see anything that was done as far back as 12 weeks along.

Both Suboxone and Subutex have the same drug in them, so should come up the same in a urine test. Suboxone has an extra ingredient called naloxone but they both have buprenorphene as the main ingredient and shows the same.

Thank You! I took an early pregnancy test the minute I recognized the symptoms of pregnancy. I went through the worst of the detox before my sweet baby developed a heart beat. I had 30 subutex's in my med cabinet. I reminded myself of the healthy, non addicted, pain free baby that will be in my arms in 9 months.

I was on subutex and zanax in May and tried to commit suicide. I wasn't taking more then one every couple days. Its now August and I'm in the hospital. They found it in my urine still. It depends on just about anything. I was shocked when they told me. Due to breaking my legs and back, being on pain meds. They did not find that in my system.

injecting tex gets you higher no doubt!! I don't know if you can piss clean in less than 7 days when injected but I been looking up answers for days gotta piss clean next week.. oil field labor jobs is mad cash. so hopefully the Valium. I took and the tex will be out before then. I'm 5'7 110 lbs. workout daily. and I drink mad fluids. tomato juice and vinager 45 mins before the test blocks the tex from showing. did it for the Walmart job, but it taste like s***. and its hard to keep down.

Yes I was n the same boat u r n I was getting suboxone but they gave me really bad headaches so I just went in and told him that my friend gets subutex and she said they work much better than the other plus suboxone gives me really bad migraines and I told him that the taste of the regular ones makes me sick n he switched me but my doctor was also really cool so I guess it really just depends on how he is but thats what I would tell him

I am in drug court and get drug tested twice a week the drug test is not a panal test it test the nano grams of everything in your system I was really wanting to use last night which was thursday so I took a 8mg subutex by next thursday does anyone think it will be out of my system and how does subutex stay in your system

Have you tried looking up subutex or suboxone to see if it pass's through to the embryo some medications do not! I'll try to help u find your answer! Try webmd, surely we should find the answer somewhere! Oh yeah, I'm on subutex also, but I'm not pregnant! I have had friends on subutex ,that were pregnant!

Find a new dr. Most outpatient doctors wont presribe it because its easy 2 abuse. Also suboxone has narcan in it which supposibly reduces ur urgs to get high. I personally have been on subutex for over a month and i havent had 1 urge to use. Subutex tastes and is cheaper and all of the above is much better.
