Is seven hours long enough time to take 2mg suboxone after taking one 30mg percocet?

Probably not. Suboxone contains the narcotic Buprenorphine along with Naloxone, which prevents the abuse of other opiates while someone is under treatment with it.

What that means is that you have to be in full withdrawals from other opiates, before you take Suboxone, or the Naloxone can cause you to go into severe, dangerous withdrawals.

It's not the naloxone that causes precipitated withdrawal- it's the buprenorphine. Naloxone serves no purpose other than to make it harder to abuse (shoot).

You also don't need to be feeling like death- mild to moderate withdrawal is fine. Your best bet is to google COWS (Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale) and follow that. Going by hours isn't nearly as reliable as scoring yourself on the COWS chart and going by those results.
