I can't find a description of my pills online. Aurobindo PHA, it's a white capsule DO3 on it. What do you take these pills for? ## Hello, Mannie! How are you? I've been taking one gabapentin 300 mg three times per day starting six days ago for severe spinal stenosis. It's been a miracle drug for me in terms of pain relief and makes oxycodone seem like a placebo. Unfortunately, starting two days ago I started to experience pronounced swelling in my legs and feet. I'm already taking 25 mg of hydrochlorothiazide for high blood pressure and I thought that would prevent any swelling but it hasn't. If I can deal with the swelling and being uncomfortable from it do I still have to go off the gabapentin? Are there any medical reasons I can't accept the swelling in order to have the benefits of the gabapentin? I have a really bad memory these past 5yrs. I've been taking gabapentin the past 7yrs, I also take oxycodone, oxymorphone, mobic and stopped taking valium and a muscle relaxer about a year ago. I don't consume cannabis anymore. It's been about 15 yrs since I have. But when I did smoke back in the day I smoked a lot for a good 10yrs. I've noticed lately that I cant remember anything. When someone introduces themselves I just totally forget 2 mins later. I have tried the trick where you say the person's name over 5x's or use it in a sentence to help remember. But to no avail. Even at work, I'm told 3 things to do, I only remember 2 of them, or when it's time to do a task at work I just totally forget. It's affecting my job and making me look very stupid...

This Mecolan capsule is recommended by my Neurologist along with cabapentin tablets thrice a day gaba100+Mecolan + T Cartine morning,Gaba100+Mecolan in the afternoon, Gaba300 + Mecolan +T cartine in the night. I am taking the above for the past two months. I am a diabetic patient and the sugar is under control. I am getting sweatiness often. Is it due to Mecolan taking thrice a day. I am taking gabapentin tablets for the past seven years. There were no side effects.

I’m wondering if anyone else has suffered stomach pain as side effect of gabapentin? I've been on it for more than a month and a half. I have terrible constipation as well. ## Those are listed as possible side effects of this Gabapentin, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and mood changes. I've experienced it myself, but to any degree of severity, and usually an acid reducer helps. Are you on any other medications? Have you ever had stomach issues prior to taking it? What does your normal diet consist of? ## Sorry, that should have read 'not to any degree of severity'.

I have been in pain management for a long time due to a congenital cervical fusion which caused the need for a 2 level surgical intervention in 2009 at C3/4 & C4/5..That area remains pain free but all the pain moved up to base of my skull, C1/2 & C2/3 & all muscles on both sides of my neck & upper back, myofascial pain. My husband is prescribed gabapentin. He has been taking it for about four years now. He first took it while in rehab to overcome opiate addiction. He can take ten 600mg tablets at once and go about his day. When he runs out he buys it through other means. When he can't find it, he takes opiates. I am an extreme enabler and I give him money every week. He lies and steals and pawns things to support his habit. I need help. I don't know what to do. He wants help but doesn't want to go to rehab. Does anyone have severe stomach cramps with this medicine? I started with 600 2 pills 3 times a day. ## You started with that high of a dosage? That could be causing your problem. Normally, this medication is started at a lower dosage and slowly titrated up, as needed. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, mood swings and weight gain. Have you discussed it with your doctor? I am taking 600mg 2xs per day and am experiencing tingling and numbness in extremities (hands, feet, arms etc). I also have a metallic taste in my mouth. Has anyone else had these side effects on Gabapentin? ## Have you consulted your doctor about these symptoms? I had initially broken tablets in half and then read instructions to take at next dose or asap or throw away. I am afraid I jumped the gun in breaking them. Are these half pills less effective? Is there a danger? I have this need to know why discard. ## Yes, they do need to be used within a couple days of splitting them, they tend to lose effectiveness very fast, thus you do need to dispose of them. They have me on gabbapentin 600 mg 3 times a day (1200mg at bed time). So a total of 2400mg daily for bipolar and anxiety. I've become heavier in weight and impotent. I was just prescribed some Gabapentin 600mg after being on the 300m for about 2 months. the later did nothing for the pain in my foot which the doctor says is nerve damage from being frost bitten a long time ago. I really do not think that they (doctors ) really know what is wrong with my foot. I have not been ministerd any type of testing. I believe that my doctors gave me this to pacify me. I have been reading on this website that this drug takes a long time to take effect something like 8 months to a year, and that it is not habit forming. Hello: I filled my prescription for Gabapentin 400mg capsules. They arrived in the correct packaging and are half puprle, half white capsules. I went to the Indian manufacturer's website and this med isn't even listed. Does anyone have experience with this company or this med? I recieved 100 mg capsules from Combitic Global. They are not helping my Arthritis at all. I've been taking Gabapentin for years and never experienced this before I lost my insurance. I read a number of messages from customers saying their meds weren't working. Has anyone else experienced this from this company? I have been taking Gabapentin since Feb 2015. I was taking 2 (300 mg) only at bedtime. I have been having mouth soreness and a taste I can not explain, even ice water makes me want to gag.
