Finding A Doc To Prescribe Oxycodone In Springfield Mo (Page 8)

I have a very bad neck injury and I'm taking 4 x 10mg oxycodone a day for pain. I've moved to Springfield recently and all of the doctors offices tell me "Oh, our policy is never to prescribe narcotics." Even the hospitals won't prescribe it and have a family practice docs list and at the bottom of the page the disclaimer states none of the above doctors will prescribe narcotics. I need help anyone know a good doctor with in 200 miles of Springfield Mo. who will prescribe oxycodone?

I'm getting ready to move to Pleasant Hope from Phoenix AZ and I've been on 15 mg oxy's for 4 years now and am searching for a good Dr to go to there. Any help would be useful! Thank you

Dr. Presley with Cmh. He has a little office right in Pleasant Hope.... give him a try. He's very nice, but very strict about prescribing, meaning signing a legal agreement and U/A's! Good luck!

Hi I have recently been thinking about moving to Springfield, I like in mn now and the weather is killing me, if I do move I'm going to need a pain doctor, all the things I have been reading , seems like there are no doctors there that will even consider pain meds, I have osteo, fibro, sciatica , I'm in so much pain, the weather here just kills me I have been in mn since 84 and each year gets worse. What is your experience in mo dorbpain management doctors ?

Does anyone know of a good pain management dr in Joplin and treatment for severe generalized anxiety. My pain tolerance is low but it doesn't take a lot to help. It's more anxiety and insomnia?

Hey mister help in dire néed of a doctor , so tired of regulation , I'm 50 years old with a crushed disk and they keep reducing my pain meds due to new laws please help, moving to the Missouri are or will travel can not work or function with out my meds in last ten years they have reduced me to a 5 th of the medication I first received. Sounds like tolerance has developed with all, sounds like drug seeking, borrow a few? It's illegal have to made an effort, not easy but others do it or just give up and keep up same difficult baehavior, probably know the answer good luck, consider practitioners thoughts, values, license

I live south of warsaw and I am looking for a dr that services pain pump patients. I have a group that comes to my house to fill it, but I need a dr to write the orders and prescriptions for breakthrough pain. Any help would be appreciated. I am currently going to a dr in springfield looking for someone closer than 2 hrs.

Danny, and anyone else that's to ignorant to know the laws and are part of the reasons for making it as complicated and responsible for the stigma attached to pain medication and loss of good doctors.... Don't be offering prescription drugs that are for you!!! And if you are so stupid to be doing it, I hope you get everything you deserve!!! It is not the laws and regulations or enforcement that is the problem it is dumb a$$ people like you, I hope that you get as offended as I have for arguing with doctors and nurses and all of the other scrutinizing individuals because of the fact that I have pain and the only thing that treats it is pain medication and dumb a$$'s such as you who abuse it, by not being compliant!!!!

Lisa, you might ask any doctor that you can get in to see about gabapentin, it's not a narcotic and it pretty much does it all, for a lot of people it helps with certain pain, it is also used to treat anxiety and insomnia, I was a true skeptic about it at first but when I started to take it I was shocked at how well it does work, it did have a few draw backs like for the non insomniac makes you very tired, and you get tolerant to it so have to take more same as narcotic drugs except you don't get totally dependent on it and it's widely prescribed, but I just took it for a few weeks then off for a few, but that was my regime.... But as a real med I would definitely recommend as a alternative
