I live in Daytona beach Florida and i deal with three types of cancer...i get 8 mg dilauidid and 4 mg as well for the break threw pain. And yet i still have this terrible problem when i have to fill ...still i haven't filled almost 8 days into getting my scripts and still hve not filled ...CAN ANYONE TELL ME ANYWHERE I MIGHT GO I LIVE IN VOULISA COUNTY AND I CAN GET MY FILL DONE IN ORLANDO AS WELL ANY IDEAS

I feel for you. I just moved here two years ago and brought all medical records and such so they can verify my issues in my neck arm and hip, chronic pain meds verified by the pharmacy in CA and the docs, yet I cannot fill either.

I don't have the strength to move nor the money or I'd leave FL just due to the crazy laws they make up as they go along...perfect example is their saying although they have a 58% yes on legalizing medicinal marijuana, they come up with "In FL you need a 60% vote to be a majority! Corruption rules

Warning! If you have chronic pain issues DO NOT MOVE TO FLORIDA. You may find a doctor that will give you prescriptions (which will not be easy) but it is currently almost impossible to get them filled at the pharmacy.

Hi there,
sorry to contact you even though your message was not for me. I am having the same problem and I live in Miami, Fl. Worst possible place to try to fill rx's! I suffer from CIDP (chronic inflammatory demyelinating neuropathy), a fancy way of saying chronic Guilliane Barre which is also extremely painful. Unfortunately, I can't get any relief here. I do have insurance. I have Avmed through the Miami Dade Police Department, my husband's work. I would appreciate any help or guidance you can give me.

To crimsonarchangel, for the price gouging issue, you can file a formal complain to the same office that caused all of our issues on filing a Rx, being Pam Bondi's office, Attorney General for FL. Just do a web search for contacting her, and you'll find the form on her site. That pharm sounds like one that is connected to a pill mill and I am sure they would love to bust them. Good luck!

I am prescribed 8mg dilaudid for a chronic pain condition i have suffered with for almost 15years now and i can not find a pharmacy to fill them! I also have insurance and my own insurance mail order pharmacy won't fill this!

Hey John, my entire family on my mom's side has hemophilia as well as my mom, brother, niece and nephew..some say women can't have it but that's BS ...it's called Von Willibran s disease....what did u need help with? I'm not a Dr but maybe I can help who knows...

Yes we have ins they filled them thru mail in for awhile said would not do anymore to find someone local and they would pay but as you know inFlorida most places want cash and its 900$ won't take ins. PLZ help

I HAVE JUST MOVED HERE TO OVIEDO FL. AND I AM HAVING A VERY HARD TIME GETTING MY DILAUAID 8 FILLED. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT KNOWS WHERE I CAN GO? BEFORE MY SCRIPT ISN'T ANY GOOD.

I was able to get my MS Contin by my part D medicare insurance company (Aetna) though there mail order pharmacy. For them to fill my doctor had to fill out some form and had to need the medication long term for a chronic pain. The only problem is that it can take 2 weeks to fill so make sure you have some meds to cover you for the waiting period.

crimsonrchangel here. This is ridiculou, if there is a hurricane the stores are not allowed to raise the price of water but i have a recording of a pharmacist telling my hydromorphone'sare $4.25 each when the web says 120 are $49.50& when he filled them i pulled out my insurance card & he said his supplier would not allow him to accept insurance for this med & since i had insurance he could not sell to me in cash. I need to know who to report this RX to. It used to be West Gore RX but now they moved to 1670 E Hwy 50 & changed their name. These pharmacies should be charged for gouging the puplic because they will only sell for $. By the way, I lost my $300 I paid to the Dr. & lost my script since I changed to a new Dr. but I find oxymorphone stronger & most Rx carry them & only charge @ $4 a pill

I live in New Port Richey. Came here from a beautiful healthy life in Mexico to be closer to my 88 yesr old mother. Shortly after moving here. I was a passanger in a car that was hit by a truck. I now have multiple pain issues and am alone and cant fill a script for dilaudid 4mg. After going to 24 pharmacies last week, this week I've had to stay home and just be as calm as possible. It's difficult to walk my dog around the block and she's sitting in my car to be outside. I've been managing pain minute by minute. Bathing is a chore and I'm lucky that a neighbor lady brought me some food. I'm at my wits end. I can't stay like this. It's worse from the cold and i can't allow myself to be upset. I desperately NEED HELP!
I can't do anymore cortisone or nerve blocks or any more of the toxic non narcotic drugs that have trashed my liver thats been exposed to many tropical diseases.
I'm in my 50's. No criminal background, no drug abuse history.
The local small pharmacy said he wouldn't fill my script unless i had another to fill??? I don't have any other medical issue!
How come Every neighborhood here has a shady person dealing and i can't fill it?
Any advice would change my whole life! Please help!

Just be sure you send it to you insurances preferred mail order company cause mail order Pharms do not fill out of network schedule 2 narcotics

Get insurance do mail order I lived in fl had the same problem the pharmacy runs out because in fl anyone hurt or unhurt can go to a cash only pain clinic and get pills at first it was roxycodone now it's diliadid and it switched to diliadid because no one could get the roxycodone from the pharmacy .......Walgreens will tell you they are out but it's not true they only fill scripts of 30 or less so you could see your dr every week or just do mail order or get oral liquid the liquid isn't hard to find
