This is an over the counter allergy relief tablet. It has 500mg acetaminophen, 12.5mg diphenhydramine and 30mg pseudoephenephrine. It is the type of allergy tablet to dull the pain, dry out the system and drain the sinuses. Side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, heart palpitations, among other side effects.

Actually, there is no Actaminophen in this one. EP 125, white, round tablet, manufactured by UltraTab, is Ephedrine 12.5mgs and Guaifenesin 200mgs, a decongestant cold remedy.

I think you were looking at the Equate tabs sold and made by Wal-Mart, they do not have the EP on them, just the 125.

No, I wasnt looking at the Equate and according to the database I looked at for Pharmacists only it does say it has acetaminophen, diphenhydramine and pseudoephenephrine. I dont know why the pills would look exactly the same with the same imprint and have differenr ingredients; however, I just looked it up again and found the same thing. Oh well, I think for me anyway...I trust the database for pharmacists only because I believe it is more up to date than some of the others.

Well that is exactly the type of database I was using, a professional one that I subscribe to monthly.

It exactly lists the EP 125 just as I posted it. It shows the image of the other one, it just has 125 on it, and no letters.

If you look closely, the number is not actually 125 on this pill at all, it is EP 12.5 which denotes the mgs of the Ephedrine that is in it.
