Doctors Willing To Prescribe Heavy Pain Medication In Colorado (Page 216)
UpdatedI have a serious problem. My dr. had two patients start dr. shopping and has decided it is too big of a pain in his butt to continue prescribing, even though I have gotten MRIs and Xrays to prove my problems. I have over a half a dozen herniated discs in my low back, along with degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, scoliosis and arthritis in my facet joints. I am currently on5 30mg oxycodone a day for breakthrough and 60mg of methadone for my long lasting meds. I REALLY need a doctor in the Denver, CO area who will not judge me because of my age, thinking I'm just some drug seeker as I TRULY need my meds to function. I am even being placed on disability until I can get my back healed because if something doesn't change I will be in big time pain for the rest of my life. If ANYONE knows of a good doctor that prescribes strong meds willingly in the Denver area please let me know. I am in desperate need of help as I am going to be SCREWED if I cannot find a good doctor. SOMEONE please help me with a doctor!!!!!
Cindy, I would love to meet up whenever you guys do as long as you don't mind someone new crashing the party. Please let me know when and where and I will try my best.
NurseyNurse:
I wonder if I am missing something? I don't know why you would call anyone an addict, and I am truly hoping your statement wasn't directed at any of the members here, most of whom you do not know. Your blanket statement is extremely abrasive and uncalled for. I truly hope your statement was a (VERY) poorly planned joke?
Nursery nurse who was ur comment for im confused cuz u called sum1 a addict then as bout por then pain management physicians???? Can u explain???? Please
Livin life you are welcome but im trying to figure out now who nursery nurse was calling a addict then ask if pot work then add pain management physician so im alittle confused rite now
I'd love e to meet y'all! Let's make it happen!!!! I don't drink and live near Brighton. I'd be happy to be a designated driver!
Original Wendy how are u feeling have u had tha chance to call hongs office yet or are things gettin better at CPR
Hey all...I told everyone about Dr. Hong because people are begging for help and I hear about people committing suicide because of lack of help! He is a caring dr and can help a true pain patient! And I'm glad those you have found help with him through my giving his name found it by me giving it to them! I wish people would have done that for me instead of me wasting months of pain and research to find him. I also said he DOES NOT put up with illegal activity or dirty u/a's! I also said he helps true pain patients with legit conditions! I never implied he was anything other than this! He is NOT! He will spot you and boot you at the first sign of anything other than being this! He cares and treats you as a human being instead of an animal not worth the ground he walks on like most doctors. I'm always willing to help a fellow friend in the chronic pain community. That's why I am active ambassador with the Pain Society. I will be having a petition coming out soon to the news administration once Trump gets elected and the news congress comes in. Please sign when it comes out to help us all!
I have not had a chance. Yes I want to leave CPR, it's a gimmick. We're mere dollar signs not patients. They now charge 200, their pharmacy charges 18.50 plus double copay. This is bull s***.
Sorry for the delay in finding the discount code for the Magical Butter machine, it was buried in my email. The discount code "Gummybear" will give you $25 off on the machine. I hope this helps! This machine makes canna-butter SO easy to make versus using a crock pot or any of the other methods I have tried.
Jlin your post says I gk to Bing what did he presribe for you? Just think of how he would if he is reading this forum? Maybe it's just me, but that kind of info is private and ppl do Rob pain patients for their meds, or like a member of this group was stalked at the pharmacy, begging this person go allowed to pay for her script and Only God knows what he/she had in mind if that person did that meaning what that person might demand after this person followed a patient around the pharmacy. IJS~
I'm concerned that the Drs name keeps being brought up publicly. In the past Drs have been overwhelmed once their name was shared on here and they then stopped seeing patients and even eliminated those they were treating.
Just a word of caution, we know a lot of people read this forum and they never post so you don't know who or how many people are really getting the Drs name. I would hate for those who found him and love him to end up leaving the practice because something goes wrong.
I agree that we dont need to be sharing what drugs are prescribed to us for safety reasons, i like the doc that folks have recommended,he is awesome but i worry when there are folks like nursynurse
I agree. I've been seeing him for a while and I wouldn't want anything to jeopardize it. he has been amazing and he does things the right way. I'm incredibly grateful for him. You guys are 100% right. My sincere apologies.
I agree about the doctor's names and it wasn't something I previously considered. There are so few doctors in this area willing to perform legitimate pain management care because of seekers, doc shoppers, addicts, etc resulting in legitimate patients without necessary treatment. However, I would have never found my place if it wasn't for these boards and I was in desperate need to find someone to transfer my care to after moving here. Without the ability to message members or share emails, how would you all suggest helping new patients? I thank my lucky stars I found this group which led me to my doc when I did. You all have helped me in so many ways!
Has anyone found a dr that is good with visits of three months or six months. Unfortunately, I just found out that I will be traveling and will only be in town once or twice every three months.
The Damn government getting involved in our lives, and between us and our Drs and treating us all like addicts is BS.
Hello,
my dear fellow CPP's (chronic pain patients)... regarding the post by Nurseynurse....
I personally found it very offensive, as I post here occasionally. Just a guess, but by her using the phrase "jails, institutions, or death" and her reference to NA, I would think he/she may just be an NA member who broke one their traditions. One tradition states "attraction, not promotion" as the way to encourage new members to attend meetings.
By her posting here regarding Narcotics Anonymous, that is blatantly promoting NA; furthermore, no one can "diagnosis" another as an addict.... that is a personal decision made by oneself. Posts like this just cast NA as a threatening place to visit, in my opinion.
I agree with you on this issue too. This forum was started to provide info on the particular doctors who are willing and compassionate to help people suffering from legitimate chronic pain not pill seekers. I think if we post the name a couple of times and then direct newbies to the particular posts that might help
Pink elephant, well written post, thanks, that is what i did when i was new, went back and read the posts, i put the effort in and was rewarded
When I used to travel for work I could get a few months of paper scripts dates for suture dates. Since all the media attention that ceased plus technically I believe this is one of the areas of the law where DEA/FDA/CDC are watching closely to ensure we are seen each month by physician. You MIGHT find someone willing to do this, but it would be a rare circumstance. Plus you'd have to fill that script in the state it was written.
Best of luck to you!
Is that Dr. Hung or Dr. Hong ?? I did a search for him and could not find him. Could you please give me his full name. Thank you so juch for the info.
Also I am in Colorado and need to know if he is a Colorado Pain doctor ??? Please let me know !!!! Thanks !!!
