Dr. Needed To Prescribe Xanax With Suboxone

I have been addicted to pain meds and have done great on suboxone, until I have my psychotic episodes then nothing helps, and can't find any dr. in kentucky who will prescribe any kind of anti-anxiety meds with suboxone. I feel suicidal and would rather be dead than live like this.

Hello, Sylena! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having.

The main issue, I think, is the fact that Xanax can be habit forming and is very commonly abused. If you're already being treated for addiction, them most doctors are going to be very reluctant to prescribe it for you.

It may also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and mood swings.

Additionally, if you suffer from mental health issues, you'll need to see a specialist and most are going to want you on something that you take all the time to keep things under control, rather than having you wait for an attack to hit and then taking something like this just when needed.

Do you currently have a psychiatrist that you see regularly? Are you on any other medications?

If you feel like that u need to go to the hospital. They are doing this cap in Tyler TX 75758 also & I really have PTSD. My husband blew his head off in my lap & have been on suboxone for a pain killer addiction he left me with & also Xanax & the Xanax keeps me sane. Panic stricken now they cut them & they know I need them & I asked them is this how u do all your ppl? Just throw them back 2 the st so, so, screwed up. And when I see ppl talking about feeling high off Xanax I just hope they do have something they really need them for one day and then they will see you don't feel high, you get the bricks taken off your shoulders and relief, not high. You ppl are stopping sick ppl from getting meds. Makes me sick.

I have been on Xanax and I've got records dating back 20 years showing that I have GAD and PTSD. My anxiety keeps me at home away from people. It is almost debilitating. I came to Kentucky in 2011 and that's when they put me on Suboxone instead of my regular pain meds. I didn't know what it was so I was fine with it. It does help pain and I went and saw a psychiatrist till she quit. However, now there is no psychiatrist around here that will give Suboxone and anxiety medicine. I feel like I'm going to have a nervous meltdown. I said it didn't matter that I would be labeled and added to a list even though I have passed all of my drug panels. I don't drink, I don't smoke cannabis or do any street drugs. I'm looking for a doctor in or around Corbin, KY and I have been monitored on them for years. Any suggestions within a 100 mile radius would be greatly appreciated.
