Hi all,

Here is a link to some an interesting article:

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/17/health/research/17moose.html?th&emc=th

It speaks about the roll of nutrition in osteoarthritis. Most of the products mentioned in this thread are nutritional supplements.

Decide for yourself what may be needed in your diet. Everyone is different.

Anything you see on TV and purchase can be returned if not satisfied. I sale a lot of stuff for infomercials. I have not tried everything I sale. I do know, however that if you are not completely satisfied with your orders then return the product within 30 day and the company has to return your money less shipping of course.

People who have lives usually don't sit around counting the days that go by, so they can be just inside the so-called 30 days. My experience with requesting REFUNDS is that they don't happen; companies can claim that, sorry, said request was not received within the critical 30 day period.

Insider says the company has to return your money less shipping of course.

Of course nothing! A fool and his money are soon parted. Insider claims that he sales [by the way, Insider, the verb is 'sell'] these products even though he doesn't use them. Well, sure he wants y'all to buy them! His is a profit motive; it's not altruism. There is no commerce cop out there that will make a company return your money! There is no court of appeals once a few weeks or months have passed--and both you,
the expectant, unsatisfied customer, and the profit-driven scam company have moved on.

Net result: company wins; arthritis wins; you LOSE!

I'm out.

Hi Vicki,

I am doing much better. The product continues to work for me. We have to pay for our learning experiences in this life. You will not know whether a product works for you until you give it an honest try.

You have undoubtedly seen a lot of traffic on this site and some has not been very flattering.

I have come to understand that Arthri D is an almost identical product to Flex Protex D. Flex Protex D preceded Arthri D and seems to be promoted by the same individuals and has the same stories.

So, I think they should produce similar results. Please keep in mind that no product works for everyone. That is why there can be so much conflicting testimony.

I would say, be brave and find out what works for you. I can recommend Arthri D because it works for me. My wife is getting better, but she takes other medications and treatments also. Therefore, I cannot attribute her improvement to just Arthri D.

Since Flex Protex D has an extremely similar formulation, you may want to try that. A gentleman, named Bill, on this site has strongly recommended that. I believe he has had the success that he claims.

So, Good Luck in finding the healing relief that you seek.

Also, my wife uses a cream called Australian Dream that seems to give temporary relief from inflammation and pain. It may be a good product for you to use in conjunction with whatever else you may choose to use. And by the way, a former spouse has also started to use Australian Dream for her cervical neck pain and has experienced some relief of her pain with that product.

I just finished reading the comments on arthri d. I also watched the informercial and wondered why there was no price. I use the main ingredient called Celedrin twice daily. You can buy the Celedrin online for a very reasonable price. I must admit that I first started using Celedrin because of a radio spot for arthri d. THE CELERIN PLUS GLUCOSAMINE DOES WORK. I have had 36 surgeries for back and joint problems and am obviously in great pain. The pain decreases by about 40% when I am on the Celedrin plus Glucosamine. I don't use any particular brand. Just whatever is the least expensive at the time I need it. I do beleive that the arthri d must work if the main ingredient helps me as much as it does. The price they are charging is outrageous. I will stick with my bargain Celedrin and Glucosamine which runs about $27.00 for a 3 month supply. I hope my comments help someone.

You folks keep buying all our infomercial products. The Porsche payments must be made on time, and there are gambling debts. Oh, and the vacation villa needs remodeling.

Worked for me. I have a torn miniscus (not sure of spelling). When I'm on Arthi-D doesn't hurt at all. Once I stop it hurts again

Dale,

I don't know what products you have already tried. However, there is a lot of good information in this discussion. I recommend that you read all the posts that have my name in the pages of this discussion. It will give quite a bit of information about the products that seem to work for some. There are only 6 pages of posts in this discussion. So, good luck in your search.

The best thing to do is try it yourself instead of listening to people's opinions - everyone has an opinion. It has good ingredients in it that are anti-inflammatory the ingredients are as follows not the ones listed in someone's previous post:
Vitamin C, D
Magnesium
NAG (N-acetyl D Glucosamine)
Chondroitin
Tumeric
Rice Flour
Boswellia Serrata
Ashwagandha
Yucca
Bromelain
Evening Primrose Oil
Perna canaliculus
Hyaluronic Acid
You can some of these ingredients in food like pineapples and yucca and use tumeric in all your cooking but it will cost you much.
I have rheumatoid arthritis and I control it a lot with foods I eat but I will not hesitate to get this product. If it helps great but I won't know until I use it. When I called they quoted me a price of $39.99! not $$58 ior $199 or anything of the sort. Of course they want you to buy a 3 mos supply cause it's better for them. So I will try it and let you all know!

I havent tried this Arthi D product yet. I am trying to get a respons from this person----Margueritek Says: Report Abuse
Tuesday, 8/17/2010 3:16:14 AM---here is the day and time he posted about a Gand C product that he tried and has had good response. He is post number 100.

Also RONI from post #108 about the Celadrin. I found some at Walgreens. Celadrin is the main name on the box but also says Advanced Joint Health. No Glucosamine though is in it. It was $19 for a months supply. I dont know if i should try it. I have been taking JOINT SOLUTION from Vital Health. It has glucosamine, MSM, Boiswella, Sea Cucumber, Bromelain, Quercetin, Curcumin C, Devils Claw Root, Alfalfa Herb, Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen Type ll. This costs me $45 for one month supply. I used to get great results about a year ago, but now my knees are bone on bone--so probably nothing is going to work for me. Just wishing to share. Physical Therapy has helped me this past month, plus the foam roll to release my quads about 3 times a day. Any response back from either people would be nice to hear from. t g r i s l e r @ h o t m a i l.

Hi Loving Husband,

I wrote this earlier about Arthri D:

I researched the glucosamine in the Arthri-D. It has nothing to do with quality. It is a more expensive glucosamine than the sulfate. However, it also is a larger molecule and therefore harder to absorb. There has NOT been sufficient testing and study of that NAG type of glucosamine in the treatment of arthritis. It has primarily been used for digestive tract ailments. However, my personal experience so far with Arthri-D has been:

The product is still working quite well for me. I have arthritis pain in the knees and the right knee is worst. I also had moderate joint pain in my right hand that was not healing for over 6 months and was getting worse. The injury to my right hand was due to crushing blows to the knuckles by my middle school kids. It was their substitute for handshakes (I was a math teacher). I was greeted in this way by about 50 male students per day. Being macho I didnt let them know my hand was getting damaged. I finally had to quit the practice. But, my hand suffered severely and I couldnt pick up heavy objects with it. Even after having quit the practice for 3 months (greeting the students in this way), my hand was not improving. Within the first week of taking Arthri-D, I felt an improvement. And, now after two weeks, the pain is gone. But, I am still being very careful not to stress the hand so that it fully recovers. So, my right knee feels normal now and my right hand is almost completely healed. The arthritis pain in my cervical spine and lower back have also definitely improved with the use of Arthri-D.

However, it may be several more weeks before I am sure about my wife. She does a lot of garden work and I dont think she rests enough for the healing process to work faster. She aggravates her condition on almost a daily basis. She rested for two days and her knees definitely got better but she was also icing them and using Australian Dream cream. So, I cannot attribute the improvement to just the Arthri-D.

NO PRODUCT works for everyone. Perhaps, it is because we are all different. I dont know if it will work for my wife. I do know that I have purposely NOT taken any other products or treatments and my conditions have improved.

By the way, the Australian Dream Cream is very effective (though short term). Evelyn uses it a lot. I read up on the cream and was impressed with its claims of vasodilation and the Emu oil, etc. For quick relief, it seems to be a winner.

UPDATE!!!

My hand, knees, low back pain, cervical (neck) pain, and foot pain have all improved dramatically. I have arthritis in all those locations except the hand. The hand was an injury that would not heal before.

I have found out that some people do not do well with glucosamine sulfate because of metabolic issues. So, the NAG type of glucosamine supposedly gets around some of the metabolism necessary for the glucosamine to be used. But, that makes a larger molecule to absorb which could theoretically be another issue for some people.

Arthri D3 and Flex Protex D3 are essentially the same product. Your wife may find benefit in either product. These two products seem to be the leaders utilizing the newest combinations of ingredients to get the best results.

My wife also has RA and is using more than just Arthri D3 as noted above. She is also using Celadrin, which was recommended on this site. It is a tougher battle for her. No two people are the same. I do not need the additional products, but she does. And still, she is not completely relieved. However, all of it has helped. She was almost bedridden with pain before. But, she gets around a lot easier now.

You will only know for sure if you try the product. There is a money back guarantee which has apparently been honored.

I hope this helps you in making a decision for your wife. Good Luck for Better Health.

Jamerican,

I have taken the product for exactly 45 days. Read what I have already written. No one can guarantee that it will work for you. Everyone's body is different and needs somewhat different supplementation to heal. However, you should get some benefit from the product.
