An 415 Suboxone

Hell no its a waste. No matter what order u take the 2, you run the risk of getting more sick, wasting your pill or money, or worse, both! Haha never take the 2 in the same day. Ive been on subs 4 years (4years too long) but I would have to stop taking suboxone for 2 weeks of being sick before id feel the effects of oxy roxy or hydrocodone. Good luck to ya. Take another sub if anything the 2 just dont play nice together

I don't know if your post was intended to be directed at another user (based on your wording); however, I do agree with you in that Suboxone should not be taken with any other opioid medications.

I'm not one to speak from personal experience, so I'll leave the more concrete details to others who've already experienced this. But until the subs are out of your system completely, you'd pretty much be wasting your other pain medications by taking them within the same time frame.

Subs have a very long half-life of anywhere between 20 and 72 hours, so (for a long term user) I can easily see it taking at least a few days before you can feel the full effects of something like Oxycodone.

Does anyone else have more information to add?

If you been taking subs daily for over a month then quit you,ll be lucky to get a buzz on oxys in 7-10 days. This is were it gets dangerous. People take very high doses of there DOC during this period trying to get a buzz. This is when people OD on there DOC. Just cause your not getting high at such high doses your respitory system could shut down. The usual crap that happens to the body when someone OD,s.

Yes it was intended for the guy who had said he took a suboxone but still feels so sick, and asking if he can take an oxy on top of the sub. I don't know why my reply was posted as its own topic lol. I've been on subs about 4 years. I have no urge to feel high so I don't worry about oc, and mixing them. I like my suboxone because its gotten me out of the lying stealing cheating lifestyle that goes with pain meds. Suboxone is affordable and way easier on the body. However I ran out of suboxone for almost 3 days last week and let me tell you, the withdrawals were worse than getting offof the ocs cold turkey. It seems like every drug has its pros and coins that must be weighed!
