Zolpidem, sold under the brand name Ambien, among others, is a medication primarily used for the short-term treatment of sleeping problems.[7][8] Guidelines recommend that it be used only after cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia and behavioral changes, such as sleep hygiene, have been tried.[9][10][11] It decreases the time to sleep onset by about fifteen minutes and at larger doses helps people stay asleep...

You are completely right about Torrent manufactured generic Ambien. I am also using Medco but they had been sending me a white football shaped pill for generic Ambien 10 mg, that worked okay, not really that good, just okay. Then this month they sent me this peach colored oblong shaped pill with 3 dots on one side and 10 mg on the other and I haven't been able to get to sleep at all this month. I don't understand why anyone would do this to people who can't sleep. Not being able to get to sleep for weeks makes a person crazy. ## My orange pill from Medco mostly works pretty well, but a pharmacist said that a generic manufactured by "Dr, Reddy" was a better brand name to ask for. ## I usually get 10mg round white generic ambien, new pharm tech gave me peach oblong thi...

I need to know a way to order 10 mg Zolpidem Tartrate by phone, on the web, or by email. ## looking for a place to getzolpideb 10mg. Lost my ins. ## I'm sorry, but this site does not manufacture, nor sell any medications, this is an information only website. There is currently no assistance program for Ambien, probably due to the fact that is isn't considered a life-sustaining medication and since Zolpidem is a generic they aren't any for it. Have you talked to your pharmacy about generics?

I have taken Zolpidem for about 10 years (10mg most nights). I live in Thailand, and I can get them from a pharmacy...although the quality seems to change. The latest ones are called Zopalet and have MP on one side of the white oval tablet (normal white 10mg shape like Sanofi style but these seem to be roughly-made and chalky, not smooth and shiny or well-made by the press machine). Does anyone know what these are? What they contain? They seem a bit different in action. Weaker and not pure either. I have a fat liver already so I want to avoid problems. What is the most common chemical in fake Ambien or Zolp? ## Bought these also, Pretty sure it's fake. Had no effect on me. ## I literally bought some of these tonight, in Bangkok. I've been getting Zolpidem forever here- for about...

I have insomnia issues long term since APS related migraines etc.. Loved the Zolpidem 5mg pink caplets(oval) as could break even into 3 if it is 4 in the morning but am bouncing off rem sleep. My pharmacy no longer carries that brand but uses tiny 5 mg unbreakable white circular pills. The full 5 mg gives me that awful "hangover"How can I find a pharmacy that carries this 5 mg pink caplet?? How much is it? My insurance won't cover unless it is through their pharmacy. It is worth paying a little more if I can get by taking less & not wiping out the next day. ## Are you saying your previous brand you liked was Qualitest? Ive only ever used the 10mg so I dont know specifically what Qualitest 5 looks like. However, if it was Qualitest you had before and liked, you are out of...

Round pill. 10 in on side and letters Z P L on the other. Suppose to be generic for Ambien by Geneva generics. There's so many diffrent generic pharmacies now. Everytime I get refilled it lookd different. ## That is normal with generic medications. Due to copyright reasons, I cannot post an image, but I can confirm that the tablet marked ZLP 10 does contains 10mgs of Zolpidem and is a generic or Ambien, used to treat short-term insomnia. Common side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, funny tast in mouth and memory loss. You can read more on it here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## the pill you're posting about is the one ive been taking for months with much success. all of a sudden, my pharmacy gives me a refill and the pills are totally different, white oblo...

orange round pill ## do these work and are they intended to help insomnia? ## does any gernic international ambien come in a peanu shaped pill that is beige in color no markings or a funny shaped blue pill no markings or a tiny round light pink with 20 imprint? ## Norma, in the U.S. all legal prescription drugs have to have an imprint of some sort on them. This is under Federal Law, they must have markings that allow them to be identified according to drug, manufacturer and dosage. Therefore, in the U.S. if it has no marking, it is NOT a prescription medication!! In rare instances, you will run into foreign drugs with no markings and no way to positively identify them, but in most cases if they have no marking, they are something over the counter. There is a Canadian tablet that is desc...

Has anyone ever heard of or seen Zolfed-10? It is supposed to be a generic for zolpidem 10mg from India but it is no where to be found on the Internet... Very strange ## Agreed. I received some and it took me this long to find this info, very scary ## And on the same day ? Never had this happen before. Let me know how it worked for you if you tried it. I've been up all night ## I actually ended up throwing them out. While searching for answers on the Internet, I found a bunch of things about people dying from generic overseas drugs that were not a know brand/manufacturer and that got me a little scared. ## Good call on tossing them out. My research on Zolfed also leads to no where. I think many of these web based pharmacies just try to take advantage of overseas customers who may th...

Taking Lupin zolpidem ER round blue..works great. Pharmacy now has Sandoz zolpidem ER round pink. Both 12.5. Totally ineffective. Have gone back and forth before due to what pharmacy gets. The Sandoz is useless. Anyone else noticed this? ## Hello, Jay! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you've had. Alternatively, I took the Sandoz brand and it worked great for me and I didn't do well with the Lupin. It can just vary from person to person. We are all different. The only real way to avoid this is by asking your doctor if they can prescribe it as 'brand medically necessary', or whatever the equivalent is in your state. According to the FDA, this medication may cause side effects that could include nausea, dizziness, hallucinations, funny taste in mouth, sleep...

Is it true or is it just me, when i am not tied at night and i take 2 zolpidem and still not tied 1 hr later is it coz i have to take them when i feel tied? ## Hi David, Based on information I've gathered, Zolpidem has not adequately demonstrated effectiveness in maintaining sleep (unless delivered in a controlled-release form); however, it is noted to be effective in initiating sleep. It looks like the dosing instructions indicate that it should be taken immediately before bedtime. These drugs can effect everyone differently, so if you are following the dosing and administration guidelines to the "T" and are still experiencing difficulty maintaining sleep, then I would consider switching medications or finding a natural alternative that may be more effective for "you...

I use this 10 mg (TEVA 74) generic Ambien. Empty bottle, but 2 in pill box so I verified ID. I always cut it because 5 mg almost always does the sleepy job. Often take quarter pill, then an another 1/4 pill if still awake 1/2 hr later. Cutting pills (if not specially coated) can save money as higher dose pills can cost little more than lower dose pills. ## Hello, Night Owl and thank you for the informative post. Learn more Zolpidem details here. Yes, it is safe to cut or break most regular release medications, unless you are specifically instructed not to do so by your doctor or pharmacist, so this method could save someone money in the long run. Anyone taking this, however, should be aware that it can cause some odd side effects, such as hallucinations, sleep eating and other strange s...

I got zolpidem 10mg and in the brackets saw name aurob Is it generic name for zolpidem? ## Aurob likely refers to Aurobindo, who is a generic drug manufacturer. So this is likely a Zolpidem generic. ## Hello, Irina! How are you? Yes, Chris is correct, thank you! Aurobindo is a pharmaceutical manufacturer. Zolpidem is the name of the active ingredient, so that is the generic name. The name brand for it is Ambien. The FDA classifies this medication as a sedative hypnotic that's used for the short-term treatment of insomnia. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, sleep actions, hallucinations and next day hangover-like effects. Is there anything else I can help with?

Just received my prescription of Lypin 10 that's made in India. White bar shaped pills labeled JPEE labs. They aren't actually Ambien. They might have trace Ambien in them. They gave me an almost immediate feeling of half being asleep and very active bad dreams all night. I can take a 5 mg Ambien and it makes me fall asleep immediately. I had to take 2 of these labeled 10 mg to get a restless sleep. I'm about 180 pounds. ## Yeah, I just got mine today as well - Lypin 10 (zolpidem). Wondering if you can take them sublingually? ## I received the same Rx but I haven't tried them yet. Do they work for you? Are they safe? ## Tried one last night. Worked fine. I received mine on March 3, 2017 as well. I would be interested to know if others had any issues with them but as far ...

Hi, i have been taking the about drug for 8weeks but didnt have any the last couple of days untill today when i did get some. I normaly only take a night and never in the day time but when i got them to day i took 3 to get this feelings of me coz of having nother for 2 days but instead of the pills getting me to sleep they just made me feel better then i did today and yesterday. Anyone no why? ## Okay, the first question is why did you take so many and during the day? You can't 'catch up' on medications, so to speak and if you're only taking it for the 'feeling' it gives you, then you shouldn't be taking it, but rather you should consult a doctor, because that is the sign of a developing abuse problem. And, Zolpidem is a sedative hypnotic, so while it will he...

ALL CVS pharmacies just changed the zolpidem from MYLAN manufacturer (out of PA) to TORRENT in India. Because generics can certain behave differently, I am nervous about taking the (10 mg) oblong peach Torrent brand one after reading some things online. I also don't like the idea of CVS using from out of the country manufacturer which HAS to be due to a better price because MYLAN brand is still very readily available. Any comments? ## The country doesn't matter, as long as the manufacturer has approval from the FDA for their products to be sold in the U.S., CVS or any other pharmacy, can stock their products. There can be some differences in generic medications, however, this usually doesn't affect the greater number of the people that take it. If you are aware of how it nor...
