I am a an american living in Mexico, I have just stumbled upon, Rumoquin NF, It has given my sister her life back.. took it to my Dr who practices both natural and modern medicine... Dr.: I'm using Rumoquin, controls the pain for 12 hours after the effectr, the sharp pain is back. HOW safe is this medicone, cvan I use something safer ? Is obesity a secondary effect ? Plaese I'm Desperate " ## There are risks associated with all medications and there is really no way to say whether or not one is going to be safer, than any other, for any given person that uses it. Rumoquin-NF contains Dexamethasone, Methocarbamol and Phenylbutazone, so it combines anti-inflammatories and a muscle relaxant. And yes, weight gain can be a side effect, since the Dexamethasone is a steroid, it may also cause fluid retention. I have used Rumoquin NF for a while on and off and haven't have any side effects at all, I was having lower back pain, neck pain ,headaches, and I have been diagnosed with Fybromyalgia as well, I was ready to have Knee surgery when I came across Rumoquin NF and I didn't have to have the surgery after all, my pain is gone, once in a while I get some discomfort and I take it again, and I feel much better, so I asked my Family Dr. and he said that Is a wonderful medication and he wishes it would be sold in the USA and if I have the chance to buy it to go ahead and do so and to take it one every 12 hrs for a week and then one evry 24 hrs for another week ,then one every other day for another week until my pain is gone and I don't have to take it anymore. Can I take Rumoquin-N.F. & Lisinop/HCTZ Tab 20-12.5 together at the same time? ## My findings state that there are potentially unsafe interactions that apply to Rumoquin N.F. (dexamethasone + methocarbamol + phenylbutazone) & Lisinopril. Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "Dexamethasone may reduce the effects of lisinopril in lowering blood pressure.
