There is calcium carbonate in the Oncovite ingredients and I am wondering about the interaction with Nitrofurantoin mono mac 100 mg ## Yes, the calcium can cause you to absorb less of the Nitrofurantoin. However, it says that this can be avoided if you take them at least 2 hours apart. Since the calcium coats you stomach, it prevents full absorption of the medication if they are taken at the same time. You should double check this with your doctor or pharmacist, but that is what is currently listed. Is there anything else I can help with?
