There are even some mediations that do combine an antibiotic with an antifungal, in case a doctor may not be sure which is causing a certain problem that a patient is having. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

This is used to treat vaginal yeast / fungal infections. Speaking from my wife's experience, she was on a treatment of Monistat 7 (Miconazole) during her menstrual cycle before, and she said that instead of taking the regular 7 day course, she had to take it for 10 days to help. I'd double check with your doctor to ensure that it is okay for you to do, but I just wanted to share what my wife said worked for her. I hope this helps.
