Supposed to start hep c treatment next week and my viral load has increased since having this yrs over 65 yr olds flu vaccine. Anybody heard of this happening? I really dont know if it's worth doing treatment. I don't feel sick but was recently diagnosed with copd which is very tiring even without taking something else on top. Any thoughts are appreciated. It is therefore suggested that patients do not measure their viral load within 4 weeks of any vaccination. These are much safer than prior HIV combination therapy medications. Less liver and kidney toxicity and less bone calcium catabolism causing osteomalacia. Also, another choice for those that can't tolerate other anti HIV meds. It's once a day and we are blessed to finally get to this point. Since we don't have a vaccine and it's sexually transmitted, HiV potentially effects every sexually active person on the planet. A milestone in the long and winding life with HIV.
