how many mg of iron is there ## how many mgs of Iron are there in Ferrex 150 casules ## 150mgs, that's why it's included in the name and there are also several other nutrients in them, Vitamin C, Folic Acid, Vitamin B 12 and Succinic Acid. The dose of the added vitamins and the ones included is different between the two formulations available, but the amount of iron is the same in both. Since it contains iron, it may cause nausea, constipation and darkened stool. Are there any questions or comments? Is there anything else I can help with?

I take 2 Ferrex 150 Forte 150-25-1 mg caps daily. I'd like to know the exact ingredients in each capsule as well as the amount of each ingredient in each capsule.. ## Ferrex 150 Forte 150mg + 25mcg + 1mg contains the following: -150mg of Elemental Iron (polysaccharide iron complex) -25mcg of Vitamin B12 (in the form of Cyanocobalamin) -1mg of Folic acid Inactive ingredients in this specific capsule include: Citric Acid, Croscarmellose Sodium, Dicalcium Phosphate, FD&C Blue No.1 Lake, FD&C Red No. 40 Lake, Gelatin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polyethylene Glycol, Polyvinylpyrrolidone, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Stearic Acid and Titanium Dioxide. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## 4 years post gastric bypass. Of course, I have malapsorption syndrome. My doc prescribed Ferrex 150 Forte Plus, I per day. I already take a multivitamin with 400 mcg of Folic acid, other B vitamins, and 15 mg of iron from ferrous fumarate. I wonder if I'm overdosing by taking both.

Is this a iron supplement I cannot find any information on it. And if it is, is it by perscription or over the counter? ## I am taking ferrex 150 plus due to the fact that my blood count is 9.2.
