i've just started this medication , i'm wondering just what the white pills do ? ## CO Etidrocal is a medication that consists of 2 tablets, to be taken at different times. The white tablet contains 400mgs of Etidronate and the blue tablets contain calcium, it is used to help prevent or treat Osteoporosis. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, stomach irritation and heartburn. Learn more: Are there any comments or questions? ## Can I use apo-alendronate once a week and co etidrocal every evening ? Is this OK ? Safe? ## I am taking this for osteoporosis. Do I have to take it night? It is much easier for me to take it first thing in the morning and then wait two hours to eat. At bedtime just doesn't work well for me.
