Does anyone know if Cromolyn Sodium is still available or whether or not it has been discontinued? ## Hi Bill, According to my research: "The maker of Intal, King Pharmaceuticals, has discontinued manufacturing the inhaled form, "Cromolyn Sodium inhalation aerosol", due to issues involving CFC-free propellant. As stocks are depleted, this inhaler preparation will no longer be available to patients. In the EU it is manufactured without CFCs by Sanofi-Aventis, although it must be imported from Canada for USA residents." Cromoglicic acid (Cromolyn) is however available in multiple forms (other than the inhaled form), so I would consider asking your local pharmacy about the availability of those other options if you can't find this one anywhere.
