My son is on banzel(along with 280ml of phenobarbital and1200 of keppra)for seizures. He's non verbal so he can't tell me how he feels. He seems too sedated! ## When it comes down to it, verbal or not, no one knows your son as well as you do. Thus, if you feel he's too sedated, then you should definitely contact his doctor and tell them that. It can sometimes take some time to find the right combination of medications to prevent the seizures, without causing too many other crazy side effects, but the doctor can't know that something is wrong, unless you speak up. Don't ever be afraid to be your child's advocate. :-) How long has he been taking it?
