BV is an actual bacterial infection, so it requires an antibiotic to be treated and one is usually taken orally. The FDA lists typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Have you consulted your doctor?

I was treated with this drug as a child. The drug was given to me in a spinal tap at the age of approx 6. I am 53 yrs old now. Kidneys, feet and lungs are now a problem. Is there any help?
