Paracetamol Overview

Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is a medication used to treat pain and fever.[12][13] It is typically used for mild to moderate pain relief.[12] Evidence is mixed for its use to relieve fever in children.[14][15] It is often sold in combination with other medications, such as in many cold medications.[12] Paracetamol is also used for severe pain, such as cancer pain and pain after surgery...

Baby Cough

Hi doc, my baby she is 1 month old she has a dry cough, i took her to a clinic they only gave her parcetamol, not anti biotics or powder for suspension, should i buy it ## Hi Nokuzola, Based on my research, newborns 2 months or older can safely be given Paracetamol (also know as Acetaminophen) as long as the dose is correctly measured based on the newborn's body weight. If your doctor said it was ok to give your 1 month old Paracetamol/Acetaminophen, just be sure to confirm that the dosage is right so no problems occur. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Acetaminophen Details I hope this info helps! ## May 3weeks old baby ko nag ipot ipot PO cxa Anu PO kayang gamot para SA kanya

alaxan fr and bioflu.

Is it safe to drink at the same time? ## Hello, Jerlit! How are you? No, it is not! They both are listed as containing Paracetamol and taking too much of it in a day or in any 8 hour period can result in overdose toxicity, which may be fatal. If you have a cold or flu, the BioFlu should be enough to help, if your doctor approves of your taking. The U.S. FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi Jerlit, fact of the matter is Paracetamol (which is the main ingredient for both medicines) is generally safe even to pregnant women - Bioflu contains 500mg of it while Alaxan contains 325mg. Other ingredients are Phenylephrine HCl and chlorphenamine maleate (for Bioflu) and Ibuprofen (for...

Bioflu and Decolgen

I have had a cold and cough for the past week so I decided to take both decolgen and bioflu at the same time, but just once and suddenly realized I was a week pregnant... Is it really that bad? ## Hi, i bought the same product on a drugstore today and they told me that taking both drugs at the same time may cause to liver cancer ## Hello Mars, Congratulations! Aaccording to the NIH neither Bioflu nor Decolgen has no observed adverse effects of Paracetamol (Decolgen Forte/Decolgen No-Drowse) on the fetus in humans. This may sound confusing at first but what it more or less means that there isn't enough data currently supporting the fact that this drug harms a fetus. If you are still within the first month of your pregnancy it is unlikely that you have done any substantial damage, how...

I have tried to stop taking it but couldn't do that as whenever i try to stop, I go into Depression which doesnot allows me to take interest in my work, feel muscular pain, could not sleep the whole night. Ans when I start taking it again I feel like enjoying my work, feel good like in a normal life, though I get irritated with people for small reasons. I got married recently and feel that I am not taking my responsibilities seriously. Though I give enough time to work but cannot get good results. I have got a lot of good oppurtuinities to grab but couldnot hold on to them. Now I am into my own business which has a great potential and needs attention. But due to this habb...

T Dolo 650 Expiry

Can anyone help me find out the expiration date of my dolo 650. The batch number is DOAD0558. Thank you. ## Hi biju, Unfortunately I am unsure of the batch number of T Dolo 650. The only information I've been able to find is that it contains Paracetamol + Mahacef Plus; which is an antibiotic combination that contains Ofloxacin + Cefixime. In regards to the expiration date, I'm not sure how it works where you live, but in the U.S. prescription medications are required to have an expiration date of 1 year past the date that the medication is filled. They may still be ok to take after 1 year is up, but they will lose their potency. Some expired medications can actually be very dangerous. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, do you have any more questions? ## Please tell me the exp...

expiry date batch number paracetamol

Batch number and expiry date for paracetamol manufactured in 2011 ## Pls confirm the expiry date of paracetamol tablet mfg in Oct 2013 ## Hello, Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a public way to look up medication by the batch number to verify such information. From what I understand (and please correct me if I'm wrong), batch numbers are generally only used by the manufacturer to keep track of production...Once it hits the shelf batch numbers don't appear to have any use, unless there's a recall or something of that nature which pinpoints specific packages. Perhaps speaking with a pharmacist can add some clarity to this? Concerning the expiration of Paracetamol (also known as Acetaminophen or Tylenol), investing in a fresh product is always going to be your safest...
